F Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Cebu City

The place is OK. The drinks seem fairly strong.

But the customer service is repugnant

I ordered one drink, and then I had to leave

The bill was 350 I saw them using a credit card machine, so I knew I’d be able to pay with my.

When I went to pay, they told me the minimum was 500. I didn’t have any cash.

After a little bit of back-and-forth with the waiter, he got the manager several bouncers surrounded me, began pointing at me and the manager told me I was not free to leave. She demanded to see my ID and said that she would be calling the police because I would not settle the bill.

After explaining to her, the waiter, when I sat down, didn’t tell me there was a minimum to use the credit card machine

Apparently, the waiter told the manager I lied and said my friends were coming or something

After about 30 minutes of embarrassment, people knew she made it clear something was up

She let me pay 350+20 pesos for what the bank charges them

She even had the audacity to say you people come here and then you complain over 200 pesos

Extremely rude extremely inappropriate

So just be aware 500 minimum to use...

I have to revise my comments from 4 months ago! Since the famous incidence on X-mas the bar gets more empty and empty! The Thursday live band date has been canceled! The different nights great themes are given, but every night it’s still the same! I don’t know what will the future of this principally nice bar! I don’t know what is happening in the Cebu bar scene!!?? Once they are successful they already relax and let things run. Same I saw in the Verified Lounge! The bar is beautifully decorated, partially outside. The drink list is immense, Cocktails well mixed and normally modern pop music is played by a DJ. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Great place to hang out for people in their late 20s and above 😅 Music was really on fire! We went here on a Sunday night. Lots of people still. The staff were above and beyond and was very attentive. We sat on the 2nd floor, so they had to go up and down the stairs to fetch something we had ordered. Bless!

The food was excellent! We ordered sisig, nachos, calamari and drinks. Lastly, we ordered dessert - Sticky Toffee Pudding. But I was in doubt when it was served because it tasted different from a toffee. It tasted chocolatey. And the ingredients and toppings that were done were for the chocolate thingy dessert.
