Review of 2Story kitchen in Dumaguete, Negros Another Korean in Dumaguete The entrance to 2Story kitchen is a little bit anonymous so it took me a couple a weeks before I spotted this place. They serve mainly Korean dishes of different kinds with rice and noodles. But they also have pizzas, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, waffles and more... for example The all day brunch. They also have a complete set of coffee and ice creams. I spent a while drooling over the menu before I ordered the Bibimbap. A delicious Bibimbap The Bibimbap was huge with lots of yummy stuff and it was spicy and delicious. Since the portion was good for two persons it was perfect for me alone. The restaurant has two storeys as the name of the place indicates. I did never sit on the upper floor coz it was crowded with people when I was there. I liked the decorations on the wall specially those French wall posters by the entrance. Usually their free WiFi was excellent but not always. My eyesight is good both on long distance and for reading, but the text in menu was unnecessary small. Regardless of what, I can highly recommend their Bibimbap and their All day brunch. Rating: 1-5 where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent 4 Food 4 Service 4 Value 4 Atmosphere I was here several times early 2017

Great experience! It's actually the first time I came here in a several years. Its really changed from the way it used to be, but its better now. Came here with my best friend and we ordered tonkatsu ramen, agedashi tofu, salmon and tuna poke, and the natto rice bowl. All of it was delicious!! I hadnt tried the natto tho because I dont like slimy food. The service is pretty good. Granted it wasnt busy when we arrived but we were sitting at the back end and were never ignored and the staff were friendly and accomodating. Theres a good atmosphere and quaint ambiance in the restaurant. We had a fun time catching up and the tables are far away enough that groups of patrons wont disturb each other too much.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0 but unfortunately nothing is lower than a 1 star for reviews. First of all, it’s not worth to get one of the pan fried steaks/chickens they have on their menu up above. The price does not match the portion size, not to mention they even forgot the vegetable sides. I had to ask them to actually COMPLETE my order. It’s better for you to order the kimbaps or the noodles. Even the Bibimbap was twice the size! Second, my friends and I paid for our individual meals, we paid in cash, and it was all complete, so the total change back that should have been given would be exactly 200. The only thing in coins was worth 35 pesos, but like I said, we got that covered. They came back, and said “sobra,” are you kidding? How are you gonna run a business and not know how to count money? I would have understood if it was a busy day, but it wasn’t. 30% of the place was filled, and they don’t have the time to count bills? My friends and I can see the staff lounging and talking to each other. Third, not to mention our waiter when we asked him questions about the menu, didn’t even know what to say about it. Please, choose a different Korean restaurant. This place is BS. Please look at the picture down below, that’s supposed to be worth the price? Yet the rest of what we ordered were double the portion for less. The size is smaller than a face mask. I wish I didn’t take a picture close up, so you could actually see how disappointed I was, when the picture they have on their menu is nothing like the one you get in real life.

BLUF: “Korean inspired”, wildly-sweet food. Service is “odd”. (Go instead to Fish153 for Korean). WOULD I REVISIT?: Never PRO: The food is edible (in a similar way that Jollibee food is “edible”). CON: 2 tablespoons of sugar, + a real Korean dish + double the rice = every “2 Story Kitchen “ dish. Service is lacking, not welcoming, seemed put-off by serving you. DISHES: Bibimbap - A Wildly sweet mess. White rice - You will get plenty. It is the main course. COMMENT: Walk (past the downstairs tables) to the back and go up the stairs to the second floor. ** Food ** Ambiance * Service * Globally ** Philippines ** Dumaguete (Go instead to Fish153 for Korean)

their pork was well marinated, soft. our fave samgyupsal in the city. just 499. unli rice and pork. but iced tea is priced differently. they dont serve cheese too along with the pork unlike other samgyup in manila. but overall i like the ambiance. nice place. courteous attendants but then i realized they only serve one kind of pork. we are used to at least 4 choices of pork and 4 choices of beef at the same price. i liked their side dishes, though. i hope they improve their menu for better chances of more hungry clients. they serve the beef with different price tag. not unlimited.
