For Filipino food this is best restaurant in Dumaguete, and it might even be the best for food of any type depending on your taste. I eat here at least once a week. The quality is fairly consistent but you will on occasion get a dud. When I order, I make sure the waiter knows that I'm extremely picky about everything and I make sure he notifies the kitchen. The waiters know I'll send a dish back to the kitchen if the quality is sub-standard. This restaurant really should top your list of places to eat in Dumaguete. Good food for sharing, and I've been here a lot of times in 6 years yet each year I come here less and less because even after all these years, service is still VERY BAD. SUPER SLOW. Visited Cafe Laguna with visions of a great meal including my favorite kere-kere. I was sorely disappointed when the waiter served a dish without one piece of ox tail! I spoke to the waiter and complained that ox tail is the dish and mine had none. He opined threat I was unlucky and perhaps another customer got the last of the oxtail!
