Scooby's Fastfood — Restaurant in Dumaguete

Very disappointing experience here, I do not recommend this place. The manager Maria Rose was rude and unhelpful. I came to the cafe to work. After asking, they confirmed they have wifi, so I ordered and paid, then asked for the wifi password. They told me to give them my phone, which I don't have. I explained that I only have my laptop. They then said wifi is only for phones here. I hadn't yet received my order so I asked for a refund because I needed to go somewhere to work on wifi. The manager said the transaction was complete and no refunds. She then began to ignore me directly speaking to her and walked away to leave me with a young employee. Later, I tried to get the Maria Rose's attention by saying, "excuse me ma'am" about 10 times a meter away from her. She avoided eye contact despite clearly hearing me until a nearby costumer intervened to get her attention on my behalf. This unprofessional manager should be removed for both flat ignoring a costumer speaking to her twice and making an entry level employee do her job. Further, there should be some kind of sign detailing their convoluted wifi rules so this doesn't happen again....

It's an old food hub in Dumaguete City but the company has been maintaining its standards on food, service, & cleanliness. It's quite impressive because through the years, they've captured the hearts of common people with their deliciously affordable food & their homey ambiance. The servers here are respectful & helpful too. The store serves the best...

first, the place is getting old. there are no upgrades on the old seats and table. no new paint, no new food, and airconditioning needs upgrade. please new make maintenance on the scoobys downtown because it is our favorite place since old. addition: make new tasty food offers like kinilaw. also, the beef tapa should always have papaya salad and the same...
