If you’re not white, think twice before coming here! Or just DONT COME HERE AT ALL.
My partner and I experienced clear micro-aggressions during our visit. We were told to place our order and pay at the counter immediately after ordering, which we found unusual. Later, we noticed a white couple across from us ask for their bill… and it was brought directly to their table, as is standard. The double standard was hard to ignore.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. My meals were prepared swiftly, complemented by truly great service. In fact, both the food and service were so impressive that I chose to dine here throughout my two-day stay in El Nido.
While El Nido, being a popular tourist spot, tends to have higher prices, From Seed to Cup stands out by offering fair value for money. Despite its small size, which means it can get crowded quickly during peak hours, this little spot is a true gem. Be prepared for a potential wait, but know that it's...
