The fish steak was cheap and delicious but breakfast omelette was plain. Place takes forever to deliver food even when they promised to be fast in the morning when we asked in advance if we could be out by a certain time and they said it would be no problem. The coffee is disgusting—just instant packets you have to mix yourself… not even cream to use. Just creamer. Am I in a restaurant or a gas station?

The worst part is the lady standing on the street screaming repeatedly at people walking by “BREAKFAST. COFFEE. SMOOTHIES.” Again… is this a restaurant or a massage parlour? This doesn’t help you get more patrons yet irritates the hell out of any patron sitting near this broken record. Please stop. It’s bad enough that the strip clubs and massage parlours do it so much, I don’t want to hear it...

The fact that a chicken had to die for my meal is a joke. They could have fried a napkin and it would’ve tasted the same. The “carbonara” pasta tasted like rubber, over covered with a foul sauce I couldn’t even place if I tried. I felt like an 8 year old being forced to eat my veggies at dinner trying to finish the meal. 0/10. The vegan “Bánh Mi” was just a terrible baguette stuffed with shredded lettuce, carrot, a couple of slices of pickles and an unrecognisable sauce. Also had to fork out 350 peso for each of these meals, daylight robbery. The staff that worked there were kind and friendly, but absolutely wouldn’t recommend anyone to waste...

I’m glad I found this place. It’s decorated nicely and the food is affordable. The service staff take pride in their work and constantly attentive to customers needs. They even often greeted people on the streets hoping to invite them in to eat- in a genuine way, not pushy. The Lomi here was delicious especially as I was suffering bad throat pain and cough. The meal tasted homely and comforting. They were also prompt to serve water to you and even change it to warmer water when I mentioned I needed warm water instead of cold. The food was delicious. My partner had chicken adobo and he said it was perfectly balanced. The chicken was tender and the sabaw was rich and a little bit fatty. The stuffed grilled squid was the best I’ve had. I think it had cream cheese and it really leveled up the flavor. The side of tomatoes were crunchy and fresh. Rice was perfectly cooked. Not too sticky and mushy and not dry. The ulam portions are small and lunch appropriate so I would not recommend for dinner. Overall a great place and would go back here again if I could!

this place was always packed everytime we pass by especially in the evening... so we were really curious... we went here for lunch on our last day in el nido... we ordered sisig and lomi... i cant remember what other stuff we ordered but we didnt find it satisfactory especially for the price... and we thought at first glance they were cheaper compared to other restos... the portion and satisfaction to price ratio was really low... the ambience was really good though as well as the service...
