Denny's in the Philippines is operated by the Bistro Group which also has Friday's, Italianni's, Texas Roadhouse, Watami, Modern Shanghai, The Test Kitchen, Fish & Co, Bulgogi Brothers, Olive Garden, BCN, Rambla, Tomatito, Hard Rock Cafe, El Pollo Loco, Flapjacks, Savage, Helm, South Hall, Ember and the like. The Group is ably run by its management team plus the creative inputs of in-house Chef Josh Boutwood.

In the US, I go to Denny's for breakfast food such as pancakes, waffles and Slams. They recently came out with Signature Bundles that promised savings and of up to P455. For P1,195 (all-in), you get Half Rack Ribs, All-Time Breakfast, Pancake Puppies and Chicken Teriyaki. Not bad! In fact, it was a great deal! The Ribs were not just fall-off-the-bone good, it matched perfectly with the crispy and flavorful Fries. The All-time Breakfast had all-time favorites sausages and crispy bacon with parsley rice, fried egg and tomato salsa on the side. The Chicken Teriyaki was an Americanized Japanese take on chicken that reminded me of charred Chicken Tocino. The Pancake Puppies were like dense old-fashioned donuts that were good either for dessert or to go with the grilled food. Enjoyed the food, the experience and loved...

I love Denny’s (Eastwood branch is our fave Denny’s) but this branch (at Ayala North Exchange Makati, 2nd floor) serves spoiled dishes, probably the ingredients are past their best before/expiry date. I contracted gastroenteritis after eating here back in March 2022. I was sick for over a week, it was so bad. I had doubts before that it was from this Denny’s branch so I did not leave a review.

However, just this month my girlfriend and her friends ate here. And guess what, one of the pastas they’ve served had an unpleasant smell. “A freshly cooked pasta should have not smelled like that” my girfriend shared. Luckily, this Denny’s branch replaced the spoiled pasta with a fresh one after they had complained of the bad smell of the initial pasta that was served to them.

I left this review so that people are aware and that this Denny’s branch will only serve food from fresh ingredients. The whole kitchen staff should also be re-trained with proper food handling...

Came in on a thursday afternoon for a late lunch. The place was almost empty, it only had a few customers at that time. I ordered a Lumberjack Slam since it had every breakfast item and I wanted to taste their pancakes. My order arrived complete after 10 - 15 minutes later. The coffee was alright, it was generic fast food brewed coffee. Pancakes was good. They were a bit dry since they were a bit stingy on the syrup. The toast was cold, which was not good. The hashbrown was also cold, chewy and greasy. Eggs was perfectly cooked. The ham was also cold and greasy. The bacon strips were crispy but they were kinda salty. Fruit was fruit, you can't mess up fruit. All in all, most the fried stuff was cold and greasy but the pancake and fruit was aight. If want to order this dish just order the...

I've said it before. I'll say it again. To all denny's branches. INFINITE MEH. Price just does not justify the quality of the meals served, although the quantity is commendable. The flavor this restaurant offers does not move my heart at all. It's depressing that this restaurant is part of the bistro group. Why can't they make up for the taste its sibling restaurants have? Hmm. It's one of those moments where it hurts you paid that much for that kind of underwhelming food. Just go to pancake house instead. I swear. This particular branch also did not have a functioning air-conditioner, so it was quite hot inside. The tables were also placed so close to each other. It felt like I was cramped up in a studio unit with 20 other people in it.
