Persia Grill - Ayala North Exchange — Restaurant in Makati

I was really disappointed on my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I went with my coworker, the food matched the menu—it was great, and I thought I had found my new favorite spot. But when I went alone and ordered Keema, I asked if it was beef and they said yes. After waiting more than 10 minutes, the food arrived with way MORE ONIONS than beef. I asked again, and they said it was “70% beef,” but it clearly LOOKED LIKE mostly onions. I pointed out that it looked very different from the menu, but instead of offering a solution or replacement, they just said, “Napadami lang po ang vegetables ngayon.” Next time bawasan daw ang vegetables, as if there will be a next time. They didn’t try to fix the issue—they just went with the flow as if nothing was wrong. The service didn’t satisfy me either, because they didn’t show concern or effort to correct the problem. I didn’t get to take a photo because I didn’t bring my phone—I just wanted to enjoy my meal but it turns out not. Sadly, this experience fell short of my expectations. While the flavor and food is great, unfortunately the reality is that it is overpriced compared to the portion size of the meal. The food does seem authentic but I wouldn't frequent this place that often due to prices. Which is a shame since I just moved into the area and am looking for some regular dining spots.

The restaurant is also fairly small and does not have that many seating available.

If you don't know Persian food then you cannot compare it to anything. I lived in Iran for 2 years . The food tastes bland , fake like it's processed meat , chips have no salt . Try going to Iran and learn how to cook . Excuse of a kebab with actually just a plate of chips and coke for 450 peso what a joke. Staff keep looking the other way when you want to call them to your table . Then when you pay it's like they try their hardest not to give you any change almost like they already...
