I visited Hakata Tonichi and used the Eatigo app to avail a 50% discount on my meal. Overall, I had a great experience at the restaurant. Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The dim lighting and wooden furniture gave it a traditional Japanese feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure that I was comfortable throughout my meal. Now onto the food, I ordered the classic red ramen, which was flavorful and had a good balance of saltiness and spiciness. The noodles were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of chewiness. The broth was rich and satisfying, and the pork slices were tender and juicy. I also tried the gyoza, which were crispy on the outside and filled with deliciously seasoned pork. What made my experience even better was the fact that I was able to enjoy my meal at a 50% discount thanks to the Eatigo app. This made the meal more affordable, and I was able to try more dishes than I would have otherwise. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hakata Tonichi for anyone who loves ramen and is looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience. And if you want to save some money while you're at it, make sure to use the Eatigo app to get a discount on your meal!

I've been to the restaurant 6-8 times Food is fine for a lower budget place It is never full or overly busy and it is not the sort of place people phone ahead and make reservations for. It's a Japanese fast food type place. I won't be coming back to this branch again. Or possibly this chain again. I arrived today and was instructed I could not choose where I sat and had to sit in a cramped area at a tiny table. See photos it wasn't busy. When I walked towards the booth seats that I much prefer and normally sit at I was told they were reserved. The manner of the waitress was not cool. Luckily as I was leaving some people arrived and we're beckoned to the table I had wanted by the same staff. When I asked them had they reserved they confirmed they had not. So the waitress lied as I had suspected. So in short I won't be returning because 1 - rude staff 2- customers comfort and choice of seating is not respected. Even in McDonald's I get to choose my seat 3- staff lie and use the reserved sign to ensure customers are unable to choose a comfortable seat If this is a chain - ops director should provide training If this is a franchise - suggest people avoid

AMBIENCE This place is located near other restaurants like Banapple, Pharaoh Mediterranean Grill and Mama Lou's Bambino. Place was jam-packed and noisy during busy lunch hour. Despite that, I was happy they had seats for solo customers! I embraced all that liveliness and enjoyed the energy of both customers and staffers when they did their customer greetings. Utensils and condiments were conveniently located right in front of me. FOOD Miso-ichi Ramen had pleasantly hard noodles and strong umami flavor for the first spoonfuls. At some point, the dish started tasting very peppery and the broth's flavor got stronger towards the bottom. Thin slice of meat was tasty but I wish they served at least one more. I loved the consistency of the tamago! Too bad they didn't serve free cold tea; it would've been a big plus in my book! SERVICE It took less than five minutes for them to serve my ramen; they were THAT quick. Water refill was done proactively and staffers were consistently energetic with their greetings. Almost all staffers I walked by on my way out gave me a nice greeting too.
