NOT WORTH IT.
The allure is that it's 24/7 KBBQ and unlimited for P599.
So reviews here and from tiktok were the ff:
good food good service good atmosphere
All of the above were almost nonexistent.
GOOD FOOD ?? -- marinated beef felt like rubber; the only good were the japchae, fishcake, and kimchi.
CHEESE WAS SO WATERED DOWN THAT YOU CAN'T TASTE THE CHEESE AT ALL.
Buko pandan for dessert was so warm.
GOOD SERVICE ?? -- we got here 15 mns before 3 am and after we were seated, we were only informed that they only accept cash DESPITE QRs of GCash and MAYA were displayed at the front desk.
Then another group followed us and seated beside us where the seats are small uncomfortable DESPITE the place was almost empty with only two other groups eating.
So I had to resort seating beside the table instead of at the couch because it was a bit crowded.
I had to ask where the utensils and tissues were -- they'll just point you where you can seat.
Staff is just there to point things and when you ask for the utensils or cheese, they'll roll your eyes and leave out a big heavy sigh.
GOOD ATMOSPHERE -- let me remind you we were there early hours in the morning, so you'd expect a pretty chill or somehow a quiet night where people are eating.
NOPE.
They blasted out in full volume to the point we can't even talk without shouting at each other.
The group that came before us resorted to not talking at all and the other group beside us just resorted to talking to each other's ear.
I kept buzzing so that I could ask to at least turn the volume down the notch.
BUZZED 5 TIMES.
NO ONE CAME. NO ONE AT THE DESK.
THE TWO STAFF ARE CHITCHATTING OUTSIDE.
Place was so dirty that there are used tissues on the floor and other scraps.
Like why are they cleaning the tables but not the floors -- tables were sticky to begin with.
SO PLEASE SPEND YOUR P600 somewhere else or just find a better Samgyupsal place the next day.
This is not worth the trip or the hassle or the...
Read moreThis buffet restaurant has Korean cuisine, kdrama vibes and it is just near Ayala Makati. Which includes Korean side dishes, good-quality meat, shabu shabu, macaroons, and also ramen!
Ambiance: It is a casual restaurant where you can eat with your friends, family, and loved ones. The place is wide, even though it is crowded; you can eat and walk freely in the buffet station.
Plus, their comfort room is clean.
Quality of Food: The dishes provided were the common Korean food that we can see in Korean mukbang or K-dramas. It includes ramen, shabu-shabu, kimchi, samgyupsal, and a lot more.
The meat is fresh, and you can see how they store it from the quality of the meat. We don't try the other dishes like ramen, shabu-shabu, and other side dishes. Since I have a small stomach,. The side dishes are hot and properly cooked.
Must Try: Bacon Strips Bulgogi Stir-fry odeng. Fried Chicken Graham Balls Egg Tart
Service: The staff were attentive and friendly. They always notice the needs of the customers. They always refill the containers when they're already empty. They greet us "kamsamnida" when we enter as a proper greeting from Korea.
Value for money: It is 549 pesos for lunch and 599 pesos for dinner. I would say that the price is worth it, especially if you love Korean cuisine and K-drama. The price is reasonable since the food is of good quality.
Additionally, it is a self-service restaurant. You can cook on your own. You can go back to the station if you want to. Get all of your foods that you want, but remember, don't leave leftovers because you will be fine for 200 pesos.
Conclusion: Knowing the quality and quantity, this place is definitely worth it. I will definitely recommend it to others and go back here to eat with my family or friends. I want to try...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE!!
I was with my friend several days ago when her bag was stolen. The manager gaslit her and told her she walked in with no bag when we CLEARLY saw her with a bag.
Their CCTV’s are just for show—it hasn’t recorded anything for a month because they took out the hard drive for ANOTHER pending court case due to theft.
She had to call the Tanod, MACEA and the police to file an actual blotter. The manager refused to let us take pictures of the business permit, claiming it was “private”— which is stupid since all business permits are legally required to post it for the public to see.
The Tanods helped my friend search the restaurant and the kitchen was the dirtiest, filthiest kitchen she had ever seen. The floor was wet and covered with blood and water running into a floor drain from raw, uncovered meat stacked on several tables. She even saw a backpack being pulled out of a freezer filled with meat!
Not only will we not eat here again because of the rude staff, but after hearing/seeing the kitchen, it is so unhygienic that we all wanted to puke.
Read all the negative reviews of this place. People have gotten diarrhea and all sorts of things from eating here. So gross.
Clearly, their pending court cases due to theft in their restaurant haven’t taught them a lesson. I guess things being stolen at this place are quite common and they just keep it under wraps. We suspect it was an inside job because there were no customers on either side of our table. Whoever took the bag must have known there was no...
