This is another restaurant that is near the house. It is at the corner of Yague and Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City. There is street parking but unfortunately it is always full.
They are known for home-cooked style Thai food. Most people order their Pad Thai or Tom Yum. They are also known for their Kuchay Cake and Curries.
Food - 4*, ordered through Foodpanda their Chicken Krapow or Fried Basil Rice with level 5 chili (â±269), their Thai Pork Omelette (â±159) and a single serving of Sticky Rice and Mango (â±169). The Krapow really hits the spot with level 5 chili. The layers of flavor in a Thai dish blends well the heat and stomp of a good chili. The Pork Omelette is a Thai version of Tortang Giniling down to its ketchup sauce. They make good Sticky Rice which is a whole lot better than other home-cooked Thai food stalls.
Parking - 2*, good luck if you could find a free space. It's best to walk to this place, take a Grab or just have food...
Read moreMy Go-To Hole-in-the-Wall in Makati! I love a good hidden gemâand this tiny Thai spot in Makati has completely stolen my heart (and my appetite). Itâs nothing fancy, just a small no-frills eatery tucked away on a quiet corner, but the food? Unmatched.
I always, always get their Pad Thai (shrimp/chicken) â perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy, with just the right amount of kick. Itâs generously portioned too, so I usually end up full and happy. Iâve been getting it almost every week and still havenât gotten tired of it.
Their salad is another fave. Super fresh and light, with a dressing that ties everything togetherâbright, zesty, and refreshing. Itâs my go-to combo when I want something comforting but not too heavy.
The staff are really nice and friendly, too!
Itâs the kind of place you donât want to gatekeep, but also kind of want to keep to...
Read moreThai Plate in Tejeros is hands down one of our go-to spots! It's super close to where we live, so we find ourselves popping in pretty often. Even when we swing by late at night, the staff is always welcoming and accommodatingâno rush, just good vibes.
We got the Red Curry Pork, Thai Chicken Omelette, and of course, the Mango Sticky Rice (because you can't not get it!). Everything was spot-on. The curry had just the right kick, the omelette was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect sweet ending.
The place has this cozy, homey vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer, maybe order another round of sticky rice. đ If youâre in the area and craving some good Thai food with a chill atmosphere, definitely...
