Botejyu is a gem for Japanese food lovers. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their Ramen, Takoyaki, Tuna Sashimi, and Eel Sushi, and I must say, each dish left a lasting impression.
The Ramen was a bowl of pure comfort. The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the chewy noodles and the tender slices of pork. The toppings added a delightful mix of textures, making each spoonful a delightful experience.
The All Star Takoyaki, with its golden brown exterior and soft, gooey center, was a delight to the taste buds. The octopus inside was cooked to perfection, and the takoyaki sauce and bonito flakes added a burst of umami flavors.
The Tuna Sashimi was a testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The slices of tuna were delicate, beautifully presented, and melted in the mouth. Paired with soy sauce and wasabi, it was a refreshing and delightful dish.
The Eel Sushi was a standout. The grilled eel had a delicious glaze and was incredibly tender. Combined with perfectly seasoned sushi rice and a drizzle of eel sauce, it created a symphony of flavors that delighted the palate.
Overall, Botejyu offers a remarkable Japanese dining experience. From the comforting Ramen to the delightful Takoyaki, the fresh Tuna Sashimi, and the flavorsome Eel Sushi, each dish showcases the restaurant's commitment to quality and...
Read moreI enjoyed the company of who I was dining with but definitely NOT the atmosphere and the service.
We were seated outside. They served the food without utensils, no set of condiments (which there is one every table inside) I asked several times for condiments and yet I feel like the requests were dismissed! To the point that I have to go in and ask two staff inside and I was told that they're gonna provide one.
I said I need it like right now in my hand as our food is already cold and the quality of ramen is being altered as it gets cold. But she told me she would need to excuse herself and ask to get the condiments from one of those tables with customer.
It's no brainer that you have to have one each for every table, duh??
This lady actually assbled the ondiments from stock just across the cashier
Then the lady walked me out with condiments in her hand but two spices were missing, as I walked out, I grabbed the missing spices from one of the empty tables but a guy prevented me and said he will bring it with pissed tone, I said I'm capable of doing it! And grabbed 2 chopsticks before finally going back to our table.
I do not recommend. There are other Japanese restaurant out there which you'll surely enjoy the food with...
Read moremy boyfriend and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here. there were a lot of people inside since we visited during lunchtime which is understandable plus it was also a Sunday. before we were finally seated, the servers made us wait for a couple of minutes.
what we ordered:
🍤 prawn tempura rice bowl 🍱 beef hayashi rice 🍙 unagi & avocado rolls 🥢takoyaki 🥭ripe mango shake 🍹green mango shake
all of our orders screamed quality. everything was nicely plated and freshly prepared and cooked. you totally get your money's worth.
the only thing that I didn't like was the dim tables on the corner which we were seated. it was kind of difficult to appreciate the visually appealing food on our tables due to low lighting. (which is not the case for other tables) nonetheless, we enjoyed our...
