Absolutely an awesome dinner place, though the renovation seems a bit abnormal for a restaurant business... 😂 I walked by this place without knowing it is a restaurant because Niu dsplays the desserts near entrance, I thought it was a for the snacks or afternoon tea place, until I was ushered by the receptionist to check it out. It has a big variety choices of food, comparing to many other buffets I had been to with bigger price tag. The chef and the waiters and waitress are friendly and extremely attentive to the requests. On top of everything, I am absolutely impressed by the dedication and concentration of the chefs making beautiful dishes. If you are a buffet-goer like me, you would probably agree with me the presentation is rarely excellent, mostly so-so, sometimes sloppy, because of the demands and running rate. But I was totally blown away by how the chef here prepares his food. They seemed really really took a lot of pride in the work they do (thumb up) to take care of the presentations. Lastly the price, it is about 1500 peso, I am unsure if it is expenaive or not to local price standard for the buffets, but as a walk-in customer, I am totally ok with the price. By the way, it seems if you have certain kind of loyalty card, you will enjoy discount, but I did not explore on this as a visitor. I would very likely to bring my friends to patronize this place again during my next visit.

I celebrated my birthday here. Reserved early for lunch through call, they immediately send you updates via text messages. We ran late due to the bad traffic since The Podium was a little far from Parañaque but they were very understanding when we called to ask not to cancel our reservation since we were told to arrive before 11:30 am or it would be voided. They also gave my brother a birthday cake even though we lacked one person to avail another birthday promo since it was also his birth month. The food was absolutely divine! My favorites are the sashimi which was creamy and fresh, the variety of sushi, and the dumplings, they were to die for! We're thinking of eating there again this time for the dinner service for more choices of food. We asked for a table by the window, the view was lovely and added to the experience. Another thing is the comfort room which is an important thing for people like me with stomach issues, the ladies cr had bidets and tissues, and had closed cubicles, however some of the cubicles were disgusting and weren't cleaned immediately. It seemed like the bidets' force resulted in some people splattering the water everywhere, and a cubicle seemed to have v**mit splatters on the floor. I hate being the person to use the cr dedicated for the disabled, but was out of option when I had to do my business and it was the only clean and available option.

Walked in one Friday to soak-in the much described hi-vibe of a top-end buffet at Podium. Secured a table w/o reservation and the wait staff quickly gave an orientation of service and drinks. Place was clean, bright in lavender and white. Offerings included korean, japanese, spanish, italian and filipino dishes. Hot and cold drinks included plus dessert. Carving station included lamb, beef, chicken and pork belly, porquetta style This was a bit a let-down, queue was long and only 1 staff carving and grilling meat to final doneness. Porquetta was on the "medium" side, more fat than meat and had to request refrying. Sadly no mang tomas but the spiced suka was good. The sushi and maki station is a sight to behold with variety and color but taste wise, makis were indistinguishable from each orher in taste. Same with the dimsum section-great variety for eye-feasting-but generally bland. Rice in kimchi, paella, steak and chinese fried styles, went looking for socarrat in the paella while absent, was okay. Sweets highlight was freshly steamed puto bumbong and hot cafe americano. There's more to describe but overall variety can be overwhelming visually and gut busting wise but gustatorily just okay. Weekday price 1088 PHP or about usd 20.

The difference between NIU and all other “mall” buffet restaurants is NIGHT AND DAY! The vast selection and diversity of food offered is quite impressive. Steak grilling section has chuck eye, lamb, and beef belly. Believe they also have lechon c/o Rico’s (?). The Sashimi and Sushi section was superb! Granted, the sushi bites were small but just enough so you can try all the varieties without getting too full. Salmon sashimi is just *chef’s kiss*. There was a section beside the desserts which I cant quite put my hand on it. I would call it the “unique and tasty bites” section. I tried the champagne cube with caviar and I can honestly say I havent seen something similar in other Ph buffets. I like the baked oysters, grilled salmon belly and yakitori sticks too. The Asian and Mediterranean sections also had an impressive selection of viands/food items, but to be honest I wasnt able to taste them all because I had already binged on steak and salmon. I need to go back!!! Price is on the higher range (1599 for weekday dinner) so make sure to avail of their birthday promo or group promo when you can.

Went here for the Lechon to celebrate our Balikbayan relative but sadly, they ran out of Lechon as early as 7pm on a Sunday night. Drinks were also limited that by 7pm, most of the yobick and vita C drinks were already not available. The staff accommodated our request to bring out the bottled/canned drinks because we already showed how disappointed we are with the food. They served us Lechon kawali instead which somehow appeased my family. Basic cheese selection. Oysters were good. Steak was a bit chewy. Pasta was a bit inconsistent. (They served a different pasta with less sauce on my second serving. Not sure if it was because a different chef made the second pasta). Was a big fan of the vikings group but there were more lapses post-pandemic. I hope they won't be complacent being the largest buffet operator in the country. Quite expensive for the price also. Would rather look for a discounted hotel buffet.

Food i, as expected, a wide selection of quality products cooked to perfection. I like that in the steak/roast beef station, you have salt and spices to suit your taste. Other outstanding dishes for me of course are the tempura and the sashimi. At the appetizers/charcuterie area, one dish particularly caught my eye and it is one of the most inventive dishes I've tasted yet, it is the Dark Chocolate with Cured Lamb. It has dill and everything just works perfectly. Who knew? The bar also boasts of a wide array of wine and cocktails. For dessert, do not miss the ice cream (matcha, black sesame and mint chocolate chip) area, puto bumbong and the chocolate barks. Jonathan, our server was also very attentive. He kept refilling our water glasses because we are seated towards the end. He was also constantly bussing out our empty plates to keep our table clean. It was a perfect birthday celebration!
