Cabalen — Restaurant in Manila

Our team recently celebrated our completion party at Cabalen, Robinsons Place Manila, after successfully finishing our scope of work on the Metro Manila Skyway. Given the significance of the occasion, we wanted a restaurant that could accommodate our group, serve a variety of delicious Filipino dishes, and provide a comfortable atmosphere for celebration. Cabalen proved to be a solid choice.

Our completion party at Cabalen was a satisfying and enjoyable experience. The combination of authentic Kapampangan food, a lively atmosphere, and good service made it a great place to celebrate our milestone. While there is room for improvement in food replenishment and variety, the restaurant still delivered a memorable dining experience for our team.

My only real complaint is that they did not have the largest selection of foods, but what they did have was pretty delicious, I tried most of the foods as a visiting American. My Pinoy family members loved the kare-kare and that's always a test for them is how well a place makes their kare-kare. I even found a new dish I liked thanks to Cabalen! We actually ended up going back the next day with more family because we enjoyed it so much, but they really should figure out how to stop the top of the pancit noodles and spaghetti from drying out--like they need someone to stir the food. Both times, we were there for may 2 hours and not ine staff member sstirred the food. Also, the second time we went. They told us we had to pay upon entering which didn't make sense because the drinks were extra so why pay before eating? Would definitely go again next time we visit...
