I had long wanted to try here but I just followed my family members who had somewhere else in mind. Finally I had the chance and decided to eat here. Their waiters/ waitresses were nice and courteous; but it would be better if they were perhaps more attentive. My companions were browsing their menu yet I was not handed one. Only when I voiced it was I immediately given a copy. And our order of fried rice had been lying in their counter for a while before it was delivered to our table. I almost picked it myself. Buns, followed by entree and noodles. Last to come was the seafood rice (with pineapples raisins squid slices and shrimps). Which for me as an Asian, I hoped was the first to be served since I would not eat the viand without rice. They are all delicious, just OILY, esp the noodles that I almost got dizzy. Hk Classics' Prawns (or big shrimps) were deveined, broccoli fresh. Most customers are Chinese. Prices are mid ranged and with SC. There is no free hot tea unlike in other Chinese food restos but then again, this is HK food. Anyway they have service water. It was great that this big resto had its own restroom. Unfortunately for me, seems the prior occupant had a revolting diarrhea. Such was the stench so I hope they would have some air fresheners in there.

🌸Food - We ordered Honolulu Egg Tart 〜 it's okay for me and I like the crust; Honolulu Bo Lo Bun 〜 this one has no filling inside, it's just a plain bread and it's good too but not for me ; Bo Lo Red Bean 〜 the red bean inside is tasty but I hope that they can add more filling ; Double Roasted Meat Treasures set(Roasted Pork Belly and Roasted BBQ Pork) 〜 great combo! The roasted pork belly is crunchy and bbq is tasty. Will try soy chicken next time ; and Stir Fried Hong Kong Style Noodle with Pork Chop in XO Sauce 〜 the noodles and the pork chop are awesome combination! It's not super dry . 💮Staff/service - some of them are friendly and accommodating, but there's one of them that's kinda rude considering that my boyfriend was taking a video for the food that staff was giving us water without saying excuse me or just use the other side where our cups are located. But they were able to provide our requests in a timely manner. 🌸Place - quite big and they also have extra space. Their kitchen is open to the public so you can see the what the cooks are doing. The lights and designs are good in the eyes. But they don't have comfort room here. 🌺 Recommend - 👍👍

I had lunch here before my meeting nearby. I haven't been to the original restaurants in HK and haven't been to HK in nearly 20 years so my comments are made in a vacuum. Beef Curry Rice (P328) is good. Good serving size and filling. There were not a lot of potatoes and carrots in the curry so this was almost all beef. The beef was tender but not incredibly so. There was a nice beefy taste to the meat. YuanYang (P130) is ok. This is a bit uncommon in malls and it's a nice change from getting juice (or coffee or tea). Is it worth the P130? That's not much these days but for someone who usually just gets service water when dining out, it's not so good that I'll get it for lunch or dinner. Maybe if it were a snack? Egg Tart (P60) is ok. Crust is flaky and I chanced upon the tarts being freshly made, but I prefer the creamier version of Lord Stow's. Service is okay and I thought the staff reasonably attentive and quick at their jobs.

Had a meal here today and asked if they have any soup on the menu. Waitress told me they only have noodle soup so I said I just want a little soup. She didnt say anything and calmly left after taking our order. So halfway through the meal, I asked for the soup which hasnt been brought yet then the waiter asked me if I wanted noodle soup. Just the soup only. No noodles. After a couple of minutes, i was served clear broth presumably the same one as the they serve with noodles which is what I asked for. So when I was having the soup, a lady presumably the manager came to me and asked me how the soup was. I said it was ok then she went on to tell me that they just made an exception this time because someone ordered noodle soup and they just set aside a small portion for me. She then proceeded to tell me that they might not be able to grant my request next time. Her exact words were Sir hows the soup to which I replied ok then she went on to tell me that sir nagkataon lang may nagorder ng noodle soup and sinabay lang namin order mo next time pag walang magorder baka di ka na namin mapagbigyan. First up the broth in noodle soup are usually prepared in large pot and not prepared as you order. Anyone who has been around chinese restos would know that. 2nd what kind of half decent chinese resto doesnt serve soup? Tim ho wan or lugang which are located on the same mall have a variety of soups to choose from. Its a chinese restaurant for crying out loud. Its a well known fact that chinese people love their soups. Thats why the soup menus of chinese restos are usually extensive. Third I wasnt asking for free soup. Charge me for it for all I care. I just want soup to accompany my meal. And did the manager have to sound so condescending as if she did me a big favor by giving me free soup? I wasnt asking for it to be free. I just want soup even if I have to pay for it. Was...
