We just came from Ongpin church but there's a lot of people in the restos there, so my companion suggested to cross the street to San Fernando. It was a gamble as we didn't know if the restos here close early or are still open this late.
Luckily, our effort to get here was not in vain.
The streets were alive and well lighted.
There is another Chinese resto beside it but we opted here in Four seasons since there are more customers in this one.
Those that I can presume to be the owners are helpful and enthusiastic.
The price point is mid ranged just like those in other parts of Binondo. Costs above a hundred pesos depending on what dish.
There are a number of various foods to choose from. This is like a turo turo but looks more clean.
Legit Chinese resto. There is complimentary hot tea.
Wish we had sat at the second floor as our group was too crowded in the small table downstairs, alas we were warned it was kind of humid upstairs since the aircon was just turned on.
Anyway we chose our orders.
So of course I had to try their Kiampong, you know, it's my fave kind of rice. But clumsy me managed to pour a lot of black vinegar in my kiampong. Should have poured it in the shallow cup.
Also bought pancit, oyster cake, and some veggie dishes with mushrooms and tofu.
Food, I will not comment if delicious, because our taste buds vary. But it was decent enough for me.
Oh they have exotic foods as well like frog legs but I'm not too keen on exotic food.
Anyway, rated them high because it is vegetarian friendly.
They...
Read moreI'm from Cebu, but I never miss a chance dining in this amazing Chinese Restaurant every time I visit Chinatown since years ago even from their previous location along Ongpin St. where their restaurant was still named "4 Zeason Cuisine" until now on their new location along San Fernando St. with their new name, "Four Season Noodle House". I brought my family this time for a hearty lunch last July 08, 2024 and nothing has changed (except for the restaurant's name 😁) from a warm and friendly welcome upon entering by their friendly and smiling crews together with their equally friendly and hospitable owners "Tau'ke" Geric partnered by his wife "Ahtse" Jen. Highly recommended their Kikiam! We also have the usual Black Chicken Soup, Turtle in savory sweet sauce, Deep fried frog legs, and more! And in all honesty, they are all delicious (the reason I never miss to visit every time I'm in Chinatown 😍). We will surely be back soon on our next visit to Manila Chinatown! 🥰
**Note: included here on my shared photos are some of the pictures taken during my previous visits in their old location "4 Zeason Cuisine"...
Read moreMy foreign officemates and I ate here twice. It's a carinderia style place, as there are items that are already cooked that you can choose from. From what my officemate said, the dishes served are typical home cooked food, so a lot of them were unfamiliar to me. Best to try the Sprite, as the one from China tastes a bit different. The seafood sate noodles are good. I was surprised with the lumpia as the sauce was a bit sour. I am used to just the sweet sauce, but it pairs well with the dish. The pork maki...
