Inasal Chicken Bacolod-SM City San Lazaro — Restaurant in Manila

I first found out about Inasal style Chicken way back in 2005 while I was working in Tektite. Back then I only knew chicken fried in fastfood or submerged in broth as a viand. I don't know if it was this brand that I tasted back then.

Crew are accommodating and polite. We ordered sisig and dinuguan for takeout. We requested additional calamansi and asked for drinking water while waiting and it was granted.

Service time was prompt. Faster than I expected. I thought cooking would be longer since there are many other customers.

However we have not even left yet, just checked the items and found out that the dinuguan is already leaking. I would suggest making the tray more thoroughly sealed or putting said viand in a bowl type of container.

I was with my 5 year old super kulit son, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I didn't need to ask for extra plate, extra glass of water and utensils because they provided it without me asking for it. They were also courteous. The place looks cozy with all the lighting and wall color complementing each other. The food was also great! Their halo-halo isn't what I was expecting for but...

We ate dinner here and to be honest I wasn't impressed - the only tasty dish is the Sinigang na Salmon but the Squid Sisig and the Ensaladang Talong with Mangga and Bagoong were not so nice. The service is OK but for what they offer, the price here is expensive. We'll try somewhere else...
