I can confidently say this is the best-value afternoon tea in Manila. One set costs PHP 1,299 (just PHP 649.5 per person) and every single item was delicious. On top of that, the ambiance was elegant, refined, and perfect for a relaxing afternoon tea experience.

If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend choosing the hot chocolate as your drink — it was absolutely delightful!

I'll share a secret, if you have experienced scrambling for a vacant chair with all your luggage in tow at The Manila Hotel lobby, but a kid beat you to it one too many times, just head on to Tap Room. It's like stepping into a different era, or a different place. With its awesome Doric columns, and mahogany furniture. you almost don't notice anything else. Until the plates come. We were there for the merienda special and wow, those treats are deceiving in that you take a look at their intricately plated portions and think, I can't get full on this. And then, bam!
