Max's Restaurant - Malate — Restaurant in Manila

I would like to do special commendation to two of your waiters. After our late dinner last night, I dropped my cash (2.5k php) at the restaurant. We were already inside our car, when two guys approached us and returned the cash to us. Talking about real honesty. I wish I could have given them something but we were already moving out, so I will try to thank them here in the comments section.

Actually, all of your crew had wonderful service. So kudos to this branch’s management. You had one of the best sets of crews in any restaurants that we have been through.

P.S. Foods are superb as always, but special remarks also to your 3 set choc cakes offered at 50%...

Nice and clean, pretty cool inside. Food was fresh and drinks were on point. Our waiter is great and really accommodating. But as we paid and had food be taken to go, I would've appreciated it if they asked us what container and if we had to pay extra for it, not guess and make a face. Its not nice to judge a book by its cover, just like when I tried to buy donuts and they didn't want to help me first before they started writing in their book or at least acknowledge me and let me know someone will be right with me to ring up the register or ask their colleagues to help out first. Went there last December before Christmas 2024. Nice ambience. For pet owner's, there a veranda at the front buts not allowed inside the airconditioned area. Can't stay cool and bring pets at the same time. Food is typical Max's. Good chicken. Personally took the sweet and sour crispy pork which was disappointing. Though the sauce was good and had enough amount the pork was just fried bacon and there was less of it than the vegetables. Do not recommend it.
