McDonald’s Taft has been a staple neighbor of DLSU since it opened in 1988. (Before that, it was a wide parking lot for DLSU students and visitors.)
The store has never changed. But parking is limited, even on a Sunday morning when we went there. It would be better to commute, preferably by LRT1 to Vito Cruz Station. The restaurant is just downstairs.
The area was clean but there were many customers. Nevertheless, the ambiance wasn’t disturbing our breakfast.
Generally, Filipino diners are practicing “clean-as-you-go” or CLAYGO in disposing their leftovers, liquids, and trash. Unlike before when diners would simply leave it on the table.
At the disposal area, there are lots of issued but unopened sachets of condiments, especially catsup and strawberry jams collected at the side. Since they were still unopened, the contents were uncompromised. It would be best to just clean the sachets and reissue them to other customers instead of throwing them away. (The only exception would be gravy in small plastic containers, though we saw none at that time.)

Read moreThe lines here are always too long, and there are not enough staff to handle orders efficiently. The biggest issue I have with this place is that they consistently forget something in my order. Whether it is missing fries, no syrup and butter for pancakes, or even completely forgotten items, it is a recurring problem.

I had already walked half a block away when I decided to double-check my order because, (I remembered they always mess up) and sure enough, something was missing. Another time, I did not realize until I got home that they had left out an entire order. One time I ordered online and I was missing fries
This place seriously needs to improve its service and...
