The food is OK. Although I was honestly shocked at how many 1- and 2-star reviews it got, I can sympathize with their disappointment. The ambience of the place is warm and cozy, largely due to the use of brick and old style incandescent bulbs (though I shudder to think of the light bill). This gives it a definite restaurant vibe, which might then generate a backlash when you get the food, which has a rather more fast food vibe going for it. But as I said, the food is OK. Not going to lie; I had to double check that I was reviewing the same place when I saw the other reviews. Aside from the disappointment factor, the only other thing that I could think of was that the quality is inconsistent, and my order just happened to be one of the better ones. Looks like I'll have to come back and eat again, to test that theory. I'm giving it 3 stars for now. I hope for their sake that my next visit won't cause me to downgrade that.
Aside from the ambience, one thing the place has going for it is the service. Although there are inevitably some critical reviews too, many of those dissing the food liked the service. It's adequately courteous and attentive, and surprisingly fast, considering that the place was full. I was here on a weekend evening, and the place had mostly families out on the town. In fact, if I hadn't been alone, I probably wouldn't have gotten a seat right away. Despite that, my order was served quickly and accurately. I also left something at my table, and the staff went out of their way to pursue me and ask me about it.
So overall, I would still recommend that you try the place out for yourself and form your own opinion. There were quite a lot of people dining, and I didn't notice any untoward reactions, or people not finishing their food. The place has been open for some time now, and it would have tapered off if it was that bad. You might be one of those to give it 1 star, or you might like it. But you'll never know...
Read moreMe and my family dine here last monday.
The servers were all disoriented. They fail to keep tabs of what we ordered we keep on repeating to them what we ordered. 1.1 Servers were not hospitable. Reminded them for spoon and forks, water and napkins. 1.2 The other table were not supplied with menu that the other family was waiting for somekne to wait on them 1.3 i ordered bottomless drink that i had to stand up and go to the bar to get my drink refilled feels like theyre not oauing attention. 1.4 when it was time to serve the food they just out it in thr table expects you to serve it to yourselves, it was a long table and group of 7 and they keep on handing down the food expects everyone to pass it up. I even reminded the server what her role as a waitress to hand it to the proper person.
1.5 was it a resto? Or was it sidewalk food chain. Because for starters, the starters came late. Food didnt arrive thr same time like my food was cold when my wifes food came. We had to wait a interval of 1p to 15 minutes for 1 entree to another to get to our table.
And it feels like that even when my wife food came its cold when it got there.
Atmoshpere was supposed to be great but with that kind of service at night and you see them being useless even when you follow up multiple times its just crazy
My food, their seafood pasta that i ordered was so sour that i didnt finished it. I have a comparison eiththr bgc location which servixe is actually great
The sirloin was like rubber dont know if the chef knows what hes doing. Took it home and fed it to my dog.
The truffle pasta smell was annoyingly strong? Who puts a lot of truffle like there is no tomorrow?
And to make it worst its my birthday. So thank you for the worst night dining out. Not going back again.
Piece of advise...
Read moreNot paying attention to the reviews of this place, we decided to give it a shot on a sleepy Saturday evening. The place wasn't as packed as the other stores in the vicinity maybe because of the faulty airconditioning which was augmented by portable cooling fans.
While some food items were indeed unique like the Nacho platter or tasty enough like the BBQ Ribs, I was surprised with the taste and serving size of their grilled chicken fajitas. The photo will show that what you get isn't your money's worth. I never liked comparing dishes from other stores but this was the back breaker for me. If the Fiery Style way of preparing chicken equates to dry, unseasoned, and above all things burnt chicken fillet, I'm better off ordering other dishes. Kudos to the staff for reminding people that the grill plates are hot. However, i took a look at my fajitas and the veggies were not even sizzling.
Overall, this place like its namesake offers a fiery take on familiar Mexican inspired dishes. Whether or not it consumes you like a slow burning candle or make you say "Flame On" would just be a matter of tempering your...
