Extremely disappointed with the quality of service and product is overpriced! Yesterday we went there with my family and before giving us a seat, the receptionist asked if how many person we’re going to dine in. I answered back “4 person pls,”. After that she gave us our seat outside their dining area but that time i need to use the washroom. So i headed inside to look for the washroom and there’s not enough water from the faucet and the flush is not working properly. But this things doesn’t bother me at all and I ignored it. What’s really disturbing is when i went to our table and to my surprise, there’s only 3 table setup! The staff didn’t even care to check our table and realised their mistake. Imagine, i am pregnant, with 2 seniors and 1 adult and right after taking our order, she knew that they didn’t put enough cutleries, glass of water and complimentary tea for me. But i remained patient and the guy I believe the supervisor or manager of the shop came to serve our food and reminded him to put utensils missing. But instead, he went back and bring us a glass of water with candle. So we have to tell again to the staff who took our order to please put utensils. Yes, she brought what we asked for except for the chopsticks… that time I dont know what went wrong but looking at the situation in the restaurant, it’s not full house. I work in multiple japanese restaurant in my entire career in DUBAI but this lack of knowledge and attention to details really pisses me off especially in my condition. Again, i am pregnant and this action is NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!
When it comes to the food, sushi is tasteless. Please improve your sauces and dressings don’t just put mayonnaise on your food if you want to your customers to be satisfied and also the rice is overcooked. Very minimal vinegar.
I hope the management pays attention to this and takes the corrective action...

Salmon Aburi (just aburi not the taco one) - The saltiest sushi we've ever had. Found similar comments online. DO NOT order. Service - While they're great with their smiles and indoor voices, not so much with requests. One of us requested a spoon and fork from our waitress. Had to order it from 3 different people. We were halfway through eating before he was given one by the nice manager. Maybe follow through when you say 'yes' to customers. The next table had issues with their credit card payment and had to have it voided, so we opted to pay cash. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Watami, a Japanese restaurant that left much to be desired. The food was below average—not what you'd expect given the prices. Service was incredibly slow from the start, and to make things worse, the staff attempted to upsell me a membership card not once, not twice, but three times even after I clearly declined.
After a long wait, it took 15 minutes just to get the bill. When it finally came, I reviewed and confirmed the total. But then—shockingly—they added two zeros, inflating the bill to over 1 million pesos. Whether it was gross incompetence or an attempt to scam me, I can't say for sure, but either way it's unacceptable.
I won’t be coming back, and management needs to review the staff...
