Had a great time at Botejyu SM mall of asia. Although we came as a big group, the shop was able to accommodate us over the hustle and bustle of the lunch peak hour time. Our vivamax promotion promoter/server Ton was extra patient, and sensitive towards his clients needs. He truly embodied service excellence as he served the food with grace and a great smile. Food was good. However, it was a bit too savoury for my liking, the lemon enhanced and balance the over all taste of the it. Loved how gyoza was cooked and presented a little different from the traditional way of plating gyoza. The wrap was crisp and the filling is juicy creating a good combination of food experience. Botejyu is definitely a must try whenever you are at Mall of Asia. They not only served good food but as well as great experience, giving their clientele a wonderful dining experience. Forgot to take photos of the other food items we ordered ✌️

The meals here are a bit more expensive than other places, but honestly, the taste and service make it worth it. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes to get seated since they were fully booked—so many people wanting to eat here! But once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly, and the service was great. They did forget our dessert at first, but they were really apologetic and made it right away. The takoyaki was so, so good! They didn’t have chicken or one other item we wanted, but that was no big deal. Portions aren’t huge, but they’re just right for one person. We were also able to use a 50% discount with my credit card, which was a nice. If you want to take advantage of the promo, just double-check with them before ordering.

Foods not that amazing for me, also not too happy with chahan, was looking forward to that Japanese fried rice kick, too oily , serving size is quite small, foods so-so. --- Updated review: My 2nd time after 2 years! And and would like to also update my review: Health protocol: Vaccine card needs to be presented upon entry, seats are UV sanitized prior to settling. Foods: Had salmon sashimi & forgot how this was this good! In fact we ordered 1 more of maki and salmon sashimi. We also had their best seller Ramen, enjoyed it paired with gyoza, although gyoza came a bit oily lang, and maybe too much for us. Ordered beef fried rice and it came out alright as well. Overall, 2nd time was a way lot better experience than my first!

👎👎👎👎👎 Major Disappointment and Poor Customer Service

I had dinner at the newly opened Botejyu (Grand Central branch) with my family, as it was recommended by a close friend. I told my folks that I heard it was supposed to be good, so we went to Botejyu instead of our usual favorite, Santouka or Marugame Udon. I was also primed by the waitress that the food will take a whopping 40 mins to be served if I was okay with that. Thinking that their food will be that good, I agreed to wait.

So I was waiting for my additional Takoyaki order to arrive while having my main course, but was puzzled it never arrived. Turns out that the manager herself (of all the people in there) gave my food to another customer's table. How can she do that? This is the first time I experienced my food being given to another table, not to mention in a supposedly premium restaurant. They make their customer wait for 40 minutes for their food, only to give it to another table? Something is terribly wrong with how they run that restaurant. Oh, and the main courses I ordered tasted nothing out of the ordinary.

Though a bit upset at this fiasco, we gave the manager another chance and waited for the Takoyaki order as if it was a dessert, as a last meal when everything had been finished. Sadly, the Takoyaki dish was rushed, and obviously undercooked. They are VERY DISORGANIZED at this branch, and my first experience here was extremely underwhelming. Isn't the manager there to manage employees, and not distribute food to tables? For the price that Botejyu charges, I expected a whole lot more in terms of service. But they didn't deliver. I would NEVER come back here again, I am not...

Hi ! I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at botejyu Moa branch.

In the past I always had a wonderful experience dining at the restaurant . I remember one of the manager assisted me before named Johna if im not mistaken her service and the other staff was exceptional.

However yesterday was a holiday / family day . We experience a poor service specially to the manager who assisted us named ANNE . She was doing a lot of stuff while taking our order so we need to repeat our order AGAIN.

She was less engaged with us and other customers not very attentive at work. Our overall dining experience with her was extremely disappointed. And she was running at the dining like she doesn't know what shes doing, Which is very unprofessional thinking why she got that position wherein she doesnt even know the standards of a good service.

i felt compelled to share this feedback in hopes that it will be addressed, as i have always enjoy the food and service in the past. I sincerely hope that future visits wont be affected by the same service .

Still kudos to the other dining staff who has a good service even though it was a tiring...

Expensive food for cup noodle flavor. And they served our food holding the bowls with bare hands as in fingers inside the bowl ha wala man lang tray? And then proceeded to slide the bowls sa table akala mo drinks sa bar. And the worst part my girlfriend was paying with debit and for some reason it wouldnt go through and so the lady server said "sayo ba talaga yan?" Excuse me? What kind of service is that? Because we werent dressed that well kasi pauwi lang kami? Pwede naman yung machines ang down or other outisde factors diba? The moment we went in there was a look of judgement. If sa outer look niyo kami binabase let me inform you that we are fairly capable. Hindi lahat ng customers niyo sosyalin tignan and people who eat there will pay kahit rugged pa sila tignan. You're lucky we respected you enough to not call you out with your full restaurant and decided to leave this review. It doesnt take alot of energy to be polite and have some respect. sana matanggal ka. Wish I got her name.

Edit: she was the manager and reading previous reviews it seems this isnt her first rodeo of rude...
