Royal Indian Curry House

I would strongly recommend all Indians and especially non Indians not to visit this place

This place is just wastage of time money and health

Reasosn

1- it doesn’t serve what it says

2- when asked says- it’s a twist- yea i really got twisted with my friends during the dine in

3- portions are super small

4- just putting heavy cream and some random masala doesn’t make any so called Indian Cuisine ROYAL- it’s worse

5- No Indian aesthetics was felt, hence I don’t comprehend the name INDIAN curry house

6- A road side dhaba is much more healthier and tasty

7 - the price - Can’t believe

7-a - when You serve food at this price , have some courtesy to keep up with he quality

7-b. Have the courtesy to give the right portions

7-c- have the courtesy to serve the right Cuisine whether Indian or Chineese

8- Got bad tummy cramps and was vomit , both me and my colleague

9- there we able to make our tummy upset than any other tusok tusok

10- upon what basis I don’t understand they charge and serve this

Not boasting, I have been myself to 5 , ⭐️ 7 ⭐️ hotels in MIDDLE EAST, SOUTH EAST ASIA even, haven’t noticed them compromising the quality.

I don’t feel like to post the pics of food that unfortunately had here. It’s not worthy of it Really

Am sorry RICH

However what wonders me is that, people are steaming aroud. This place

Reasons. Which I got-

It’s part of prestige to give a treat in here, as it is expensive

And it’s like , my friend gave me a treat In RICH-

What the...

Food:

I asked for my chicken Tika to be SUPER spicy and was delivered without any spice at all. Disappointed as the server clarified my super spicy choice with an "are you sure?" so, I was expecting my tounge to be destroyed with fire. Instead I could have given it to my 5 year old niece. However, very nice marinade.

Jeera aloo was good, really good actually. As we're the poppadoms and plain naan bread! Clearly fresh and cooked on demand.

Chicken vindaloo,.... Disgusting. Like licking a bowl of salt. I ate as much as I could but, worried I might die of blood pressure explosion I gave up. Such a shame as I think the sauce was nice, but I could not really tell because of all the salt.

Service : Good bit sometimes if was hard to get service as they were scrolling on their phones. I did have to shout across the Empty restaurant on occasion to get served but always polite. Just GET OFF YOUR PHONES! You're at work, not in a bar.

Atmosphere : apart from one other inconsiderate customer who thought it was fine for him to listen to his phone speakers on full volume, it was fine. This guy isn't the restaurant fault so can't blame them for this selfish moron.

Overall : I was there for five hours grazing my way through 6 different dishes and lots of beer and will go back again, but it's clear they can be better with simple changes....

This would be my 3rd visit to RICH at the mall of Asia location, the previous 2 visits the food was the best I've had from an Indian curry house, but today's visit was shocking to say the least, we have ordered pretty much the same food on each visit so we know how good it can be, today's food was absolute rubbish, the vindaloo did not have 1 bit of spice to it (we also asked for it to be extra hot), the goan prawn curry was a box of watery liquid with a few prawns thrown in, again no taste to it,, our 3rd curry was just the same, very bland,, the tandoori chicken was tasteless and missing some toppings which I'd had the week before and after asking the waitress regards the onion and sauce topping was assured it would be there as this was all take away food,, (it was not), even the fried poppodoms were burnt, only thing that was consitant from previous visits was the saffron rice,,,,I'm really disappointed with RICH now as I was wanting this to be a weekly take away for us,, hope whomever reads this can look into it, my order was as the food stated above around 5pm on Saturday 30th December, ...

RICH is a popular and well known chain in metro Manila. This restaurant is located on seaside boulevard and is nestled amongst other restaurants and bars. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating gives a great view of the Manila Bay but can be hot during most of the year. The interior decor of the restaurant is casual with tables and some casual sit down areas. Parking can get tricky with some wait times since the area is really busy at all times. Food and drinks : The menu is exhaustive with all possible options of the Indian cuisine. They also offer and Indo Chino option. Happy hour is between 5 pm and 7 pm where they offer a buy 1 get 1 free offer. They have a fully stocked bar. Salads, appetizers and the entrees were good. It was good food but definitely not the best Indian food in Manila. Service : was spotty at times, when the restaurant got busy. It dint seem like the restaurant was short staffed. Pricing : Moderately priced. Will I return? : Yes!

Indian cuisine is rare to find in the Philippines.Really good Indian food!! Big portions! Quite expensive because tax and serivice charges Will be added on your invoice. Authentic Indian Flavors. Appropriately named, the interiors are plush in terms of design, and even table settings are fancy. The servers are friendly and quick to respond. Started with the Roti Canai, and the thin, delicate layers of flatbread and accompanying sauce went my appetite sufficiently. Chicken Biryani was deceptively small, but even among two hungry diners, there was still enough leftovers to feed a third. Tender chunks of chicken mixed with fluffy, fragrant and flavorful long grains of biryani rice, with moderate heat and a perfect blend of spices. Worth ordering again, for sure. All this rich food with a tall glass of smooth yogurt lassi, and the Kulfi, a pistachio/cardamom ice cream like treat, super creamy and a perfect way to end the meal.
