Gloria Maris really hit the spot for me! It’s one of those places that makes you feel good about choosing to dine out. The food was superb across the board. I mean, the Peking duck had the best texture I've ever had—crispy on the outside and just melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The jellyfish juicy and tender and paired well with the black vinegar.

They served us raw duck, and when we asked them to cook it properly, they returned it with fewer pieces. They claimed the duck had shrunk, which is impossible because we ordered a whole duck. Additionally, they charged us 50 PHP for chili sauce without informing us beforehand—this is the first Chinese restaurant we've experienced that charges for chili sauce.
