Italianni's Restaurant — Restaurant in Pasay

We visited Italianni’s last August 17, 2025, to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Our order was taken at around 3:28 PM, and the waitress told us that serving time would take about 25 minutes. We were seated outside, but even after 20 minutes, no water or complimentary bread was served. A different waiter came at sinabi nya na yung pina init nyang bread ay kinuha daw ng ibang waiter at naserve sa ibang table.

By 4:00 PM, our pasta and pizza finally arrived. We followed up for the festa della karne/meal platter so we could take a complete picture of the food and celebrate with the birthday song. Unfortunately, 4:30 PM came and still, there was no platter. At this point, a different waiter approached and said he would be assisting us moving forward.

We kept following up because we were hungry and the pasta was getting cold. Yet, by 5:00 PM, the platter had still not been served. The waiter then informed us that the order was never encoded in their POS system, which explained the delay. Naserve na ang festa della carne and guess what, hindi sinerve ang rice. Hindi rin nagbigay ng spoon. Nagfollow up na naman at ang nakakatawa nagtanong ang waiter kung ano ba daw inorder! Kaya pinatawag ko yung unang waitress na nagtake ng order namin nailista nya sa papel pero hindi sa POS! Pati iced tea ang tagal iserve! Naubos na oras namin sa paghihintay. Hayy naku, This was very frustrating, considering we had already been waiting for more than an hour and he had just confirmed the platter order earlier.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. We went there for a special occasion, but poor service, disorganized staff, and missed orders completely ruined the celebration. Sadly, we will not be coming back to...

Tried this Italian place in the side of Mall of Asia and honestly, the food didn’t quite hit the mark.

Had the fried calamari, which was way too oily with too much batter. The squid inside was thin and overcooked where some pieces were really dry. The marinara sauce was actually pretty good though, nice flavour and tangy.

The pizza (Quattro Stagioni) was okay where the crust was airy. Toppings were a mix of pepperoni, mushroom/artichokes, prawns, olives, and quattro formaggi. Which some section of the pizza really lacked flavours. Decent but nothing special.

The bacon carbonara (carbonara classico) was a letdown. It was quite dry and missing that creamy, rich texture you’d expect on carbonara, even though the pasta itself was cooked nicely al dente. Such a disappointment and the bacon was super salty.

The truffle chicken mushroom pasta was the best dish of the night. It was full of flavour and perfectly balanced with that al denta pasta.

Our waitress was super lovely and really made the experience a bit better. But it did feel odd when she told us to leave a five star review so she could get two days off for the week. She definitely deserves her time off, but I just want to share my honest experience and not a forced five star review. There was great service from the waitress but just...

Food here is great especially the bread and dessert. I don't like the pasta but maybe my tongue is not meant for Italian taste for past. Their rice meals are good and serving was big enough. Their regular servings is already good for a Filipino tummy. The meat dishes are also good as well. My personal favorite is the bread with artichoke then have their free herbed bread dip on it. You can have UNLI refill for the service bread which makes the place having good value for money. If you have a BFF card you will save tons of money since they give generous discount. They also give free coffee which is really good when you have the card. The Caesar salad is also good especially the dressing and you can ask the waitress to add additional dressing for free. The biggest discount is on monday which will give you thirty percent discount for every transaction. The staffs are also giving super service, they are kind and attentive to your needs. I didnt have to tell them when i want a refill a water in my glass. They automatically refill it when it was 1/4 empty. This is a go to Italian restaurant that is worth the value on your money.
