TL;W/DR - This restaurant is dishonest and will take advantage of you.
Our experience on March 8th, 2025, during the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition at MOA, will unfortunately be our first and last visit to this establishment. We chose this restaurant specifically for its balcony access, despite the 1,500 peso per person charge, which we understood to be fully consumable. We were appreciative that our young child was not included in the head count, bringing our total to 7,500 pesos for five adults. However, what followed left us feeling deeply disappointed and quite frankly, taken advantage of.
From the outset, I had a sense that something wasn't quite right. We placed our order and explicitly requested our server to notify us if our total approached the 7,500 peso consumable. We were considering adding the kao kha moo, a 1,500 peso dish, and wanted to avoid exceeding our limit. Thankfully, the server did return before the order was finalized, informing us that our total was between 5,300 and 5,800 pesos. This gave us a sense of reassurance that we were well within our budget. However, this initial assurance was quickly undermined.
At approximately 7 PM, with the fireworks show about to begin, our kao kha moo had still not arrived. We inquired about its status, concerned we would miss the start of the show, especially as our seating was simply chairs at the second-floor veranda and our dining table was actually inside the mall. We were then informed that the pork dish would have to be packed for takeout. My group was understandably disappointed, and I requested an explanation. This is when the situation escalated. The server then returned and stated that we had already consumed the full 7,500 pesos, and that the pork order would push us over by more than 1,500 pesos. This was in stark contrast to the earlier estimate of around 5,800 pesos, and the pork order was placed when we originally sat.
My instincts told me something was wrong. I asked the server, a different one from the one who took our order, a direct question: 'Was the pork order sent to the kitchen when we first ordered, or only after we followed up?' The response, 'We are having the kitchen prepare it right now,' did not answer my question. I politely but firmly reiterated, 'That is not what I asked.' This led to visible nervousness between the two servers. When no one provided a clear answer, and with the show about to start, we requested to speak with a manager.
The manager arrived, immediately offering explanations as he approached, 'The order is being prepared now,' and 'Do you want it for takeout?' I respectfully asked him to stop, as I felt he was rushing us. I recounted our experience, but he didn't seem to be truly listening. We decided to cancel the pork order, insisting we would only pay for what we had consumed, despite the initial agreement of the 1,500 peso consumable per person. He readily agreed, which provided some relief. However, we then realized our two orders of mango sticky rice were also missing.
Given the time constraints, we were understandably rushed. It was 7:30, and thankfully the show had not yet started. Still, I remained suspicious. Upon examining the receipt, I discovered that the missing dessert had been charged. The manager was prepared to usher us out to the veranda without ever having served it. While I understand and accept event-related markups, I am deeply troubled by what appears to be a deliberate attempt to charge us for items we did not receive. It left us feeling as though we were being deliberately taken advantage of.
I do not accept that this was a mere misunderstanding. I feel that there was a calculated attempt to overcharge us. I know when I am being treated...

The menu is a delightful journey through the flavors of Thailand, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to every palate. I was particularly impressed with the Tom Yum soup, which had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess. The Pad Thai was another highlight—perfectly cooked noodles with a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. The green curry was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of heat, and the portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied.

Read moreThis is our first time eating at this restaurant. We've had some good Thai food before but this resto prolly is one of the best.
The MOA branch people were very friendly. Didn't judge us as we ordered food good for about four people kahit dalawa lang kami lol. Waiting time was ok, a little slow but responded quickly after one follow up.
Green Papaya Salad Very refreshing. Will definitely make you want to eat more. Sour, kinda sweet, a bit funky. And it has some heat. 4/5
Pad Kaprow Wok fried basil and chili dish with crispy fried egg. We got the one that came with the crispy soft shell crab.
I am telling you now, I almost cried at how tasty this dish was. The fried basil with the sauce plus the crispy outside and soft and tender inside of the soft shell crab. I am salivating now as I write about this dish. Buy it, buy it now. 5/5
Pad See Iew Stir fried flat noodles with dark soy sauce.
Soft, ample, well-seasoned noodles. The mouth feel is great. The noods were soft but still had enough chew in it. Perhaps one of the best noodle dishes I've ever had. 5/5
From The Grill We had the Plamug Yang (squid) and Moo Yang (pork). Both were beautifully seasoned, tender, and came with a side of green papaya salad. Yum! 5/5
