Indulge in Exquisite Japanese Delights at Kimono Ken: A Hidden Gem If you're longing for a taste of Japan, look no further than Kimono Ken (MOA). This Japanese restaurant, nestled within SM Mall of Asia, is a true hidden gem we stumbled upon during a leisurely stroll. We were immediately drawn in by our cravings, and the welcoming waitress kindly invited us inside. The staff at Kimono Ken were lively and accommodating, although we encountered a small hiccup when the seat we wanted was occupied by a staff member doing paperwork. Nevertheless, the restaurant's ambiance and decor were pleasant, offering a peaceful escape from the mall's hustle and bustle. Kimono Ken's menu is a treasure trove of Japanese delights, and we decided to take the waitress's recommendations to heart. We ordered the flavorful Pork Curry, the comforting Gyudon, and the intriguingly named Crazy Maki. To quench our thirst, we opted for the tantalizing Kimono Ken Special, a delightful fruit blend dominated by the refreshing taste of mango and tropical fruits. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations. The Crazy Maki, in particular, made a lasting impression with its harmonious blend of flavors, leaving us feeling invigorated. The Kimono Ken Special was also a highlight, offering a refreshing and tropical twist to our dining experience. Considering its prime location and the impressive quality and generous portions of food, Kimono Ken provides great value for money. The prices are reasonable, allowing you to savor authentic Japanese delicacies without straining your wallet. Overall, our experience at Kimono Ken was truly delightful. The warm hospitality, incredible flavors, and serene ambiance made it a memorable outing. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Kimono Ken as a must-visit destination for lovers of Japanese cuisine and anyone seeking an exceptional culinary adventure.

Kimono Ken - Mall of Asia: Great Japanese Food at a Reasonable Price! Kimono Ken at Mall of Asia is a solid choice if you’re craving authentic and affordable Japanese food. The sushi, ramen, and donburi were all well-prepared, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Their gyudon and spicy salmon roll were personal favorites! Service was quick and efficient, though the place can get crowded during peak hours. The ambiance is decent, but it could be improved with better lighting and a cozier setup. Overall, great food at a reasonable price, making it a go-to spot for casual Japanese dining in MOA. Will definitely come back! 🍣🍜

The service is not very good. I tried to order but was passed over to another server, a girl named Andy. Who could not even be bothered to smile. Just stood in front of me with a blank look on her face without even a “May I take your order?” Very unfriendly. Strange also how there is no soy sauce on the table. You ask for it and the servers come and pour it for you. My salmon sashimi was served with the main course. Such a shame the service was bad since the food was pretty good. Everything I ordered tasted great.

Honest review from US Citizens! We went here for sushi, we walked in and were seated right away, the atmosphere was lovely and I was very excited to eat here. We ordered the California roll, Fried California maki, Ump Rice, and Fried chicken cheese rolls. We also brought our own Pepsi Lime which they asked if we wanted ice for. This was amazing because we have been skeptical of drinking water while we are out. In america many restaurants would have told us we could not bring outside drinks in to the restaurant, thankfully that was not the case. They told us it would be 15-20 minutes serving time, it was more like 5 minutes before the first item came out and a total of 12 minutes before all the food was out, but I wasn't timing it. The food was AMAZING, I actually enjoyed the California Maki better than the fried Maki. The chicken rolls were amazing too! I use a lot of soy sauce with sushi, they poured it for me instead of letting me use as much as I want when I want so I had to ask them for more and they poured me more. Once we were done we received the bill and the seevice charge was 85php. We were ok with this because the service was very good! Overall a great and affordable option for foreigners! All our food including service charge/tip was $17...

Let's start with the staff..... greeted us with asking for our vax card... then told us where to sit.... after looking and closing the menu it took 10 min to get someone to take our order and mind you 6 out of 12 tables were full... when we finally got our order taken the server was very short with me..... order was not reviewed to make sure she got it right.... after she left she came back with the place settings and took off again... took about 15 min and the appetizers came and then very shortly after was the rolls.... at first the staff seemed cold but after we got our full meal they were alittle warmer.... for being mall sushi I will give the quality of the food an "ok" ... for the price I will say that unfortunately I will not be...
