how do i explain this... it's not totally filipino food in a sense. it's kind of transformed and the essence of particular cuisines are kind of lost... like the pusit kare kare for example... i would call it pusit served with kare kare sauce but i wouldn't go as far as calling it kare kare itself... you know what i mean? so like a tourist isn't really getting a truly filipino dish. it's maybe a stepping stone for what i'd say true filipino food is. like the dinuguan especially... i just expect a bloody mess, you know? it tasted good, but that was not dinuguan... with that said, all the food was delicious. i wouldn't mind eating here again. the service was also relatively quick. actually, the highlight for me was the iskrambol, which i would say was probably the most authentically filipino thing i had bere. so in summary. really good food, just not completely authentic....

Be careful not to think this place serves traditional or typical Filipino cuisine. On the contrary, the place has been renowned among locals as a place to sample Filipino food with a twist - a big twist, if I might say so. The ambience is befitting of the quality and style of food they serve - fancy, different, yet somewhat still homey.

The Filipinos food which you may have been accustomed to becomes out of the ordinary, and is not very typical of the cuisines. For most dishes, the only thing that perhaps made them Filipino was the name given - the combination of spices, ingredients, taste, look and even manner of serving actually becomes alien to most locals. Nonetheless, it has become popular to most Filipinos, at least ones who can affors the place, so it may still be...

1st time to dine here. When I ordered the Octadobo, i was told that it was good for 2 to 3 persons, but the serving was so small, i don't even think that 1 person can be satisfied with that serving alone.

The Salted Gabi chips were really good. But after all the chips were consumed and the sauce which I think was made with butter and salted egg (it got cold after causing for the sauce to solidify) ,i saw a 2-inch hair innthe solidified sauce. So, I made sure to pay for the bill first before informing one of the crew about the hair. I, in fact, showed it to him and told him to inform their staff about it.

Overall, the food were great, but not too generous on their serving portions. But,that is...

Had lunch here and ordered Champorado, Lumpia, Lechon, and Bicol Express. Servings are good for 3-5 persons, depending on your appetite. The price for a viand ranges from 350-900. You won't regret spending a penny here since every plate worths it. As a Champorado lover, their creamy version makes it one of the best in the metro. The lumpia is surprisingly sumptuous as well. The lechon is crispy. The bicol express does not look like a traditional one. Its sauce is green-colored, its spices has a tinge of Thai spices. In terms of facilities, my collegues said that this branch is the best Locavore in the metro because of its interior and space. They also have cool restroom, too!

Very hard selling service, bald manager comes every few minutes to push the high value items to customers. Do not ask for recommendations, he will just show you the highest priced items and talk a bunch of nonsense to confuse you. To make things worse, the waitress keyed in the wrong item that we ordered, instead of a bulalo 570php she keyed in a pholalo 1245 php and the manager refused to take responsibility for it. Probably a ploy to trick tourists by making the food sound similar to each other so you can’t know the difference. The nail in the coffin was that the food was terrible to begin with, wouldn’t feed them to my cats. Their fried lumpia belongs to the garbage can.
