Botejyu - Estancia — Restaurant in Pasig

Based on what we ordered, there's nothing special with their food, especially the takoyaki and the Shrimp Fried Prawn Mayo Roll did not even satisfied my expectation, looking at the picture in the menu and considering the price, I was expecting it to be good. It is pricey, sometimes it's ok to eat in a pricey restaurant if you have the budget for it but at least you will expect to get really good food. We transferred from our first table which is located at the end of the room because there was many mosquitoes. But the seats on the wall side is not advisable for diners with small children. I find the back of the chair dangerous because the design have exposed flourescent lights, this should be covered with something like protective plates, there are options to cover these flourescent lights to make it safe and yet you can use the right materials to maintain that design effect that you want to achieve. I also find it dirty, as you can see in the picture. These are areas that maybe the staffs already don't take time to clean and yet are very visible because of the lights. The serving time was not long 15 minutes is already good. I don't have plans of going back. They have a lot of choices in their menu, I hope they...

It took a while for us to be seated because the servers cleaned all vacant tables before seating the waiting customers. There were 4-5 groups waiting outside with no one attending to us. We were 2nd in line and were seated around 7:45 and it took a while for a server to get our orders. When one finally arrived, after listing down ONE order, he left for whatever reason. When our orders were finally taken, a lot of items were not on stock. When they finally got all our orders, after 15 mins, they tell us that one order is not available and we had to choose again. We waited patiently for our orders and at 8:40 we realize, the people who arrived AFTER us were already starting to eat. Then the table beside us who were seated 2 groups AFTER us, got their orders and they had a couple of items that are exactly the same as ours!!! Nauna pa sila sa amin!!! 😡

Is it because we were availing the 50% BPI discount that’s why instead of prioritizing us, they took care of customers who came AFTER us???

Worst restaurant...

We really love Botejyu here in Estancia! We just ate yesterday in other branch and we’re pretty disappointed with the food; especially the service we got!

Thankfully, the staff and cook here are nice. They always make our experience incredible! Food was hot, pregnant friendly (can’t make me vomit!), service was exceptional!

I sincerely thank Jhay for guiding us how to use their condiments on the side of the table, and recommending what’s best for me especially their Ramen that I only wanted a small amount. He didn’t only take care of us but made our experience awesome!

If you’re gonna be dining here, don’t hesitate anymore! It’s gonna be worth it, I promise! They are checking often if we need anything else or how’s our experience that we didn’t experience from the different branch.

Should try what we ordered, especially the Takoyaki that I never knew tasted authentic from Japan!
