I've been eyeing this place since we started going to the area for cooked foods during the early days of the pandemic. Back then it was a hit-or-miss-kind-of-thing if we would catch it open or not.
Finally, I got to try their PUTO BUMBONG and LECHE FLAN for takeaway after some midnight snacking of Goto across the street.
PUTO BUMBONG: Covered in coco sugar that is way too much for my liking (about half of it went to waste, sad) but overall, satisfied my cravings. I am not sure if they just ran out of freshly-grated young coconut for toppings because it was already midnight when I bought it or it is really their take on this native delicacy. The malagkit rice used was truly sticky I had to use scissors to cut through since I was only using the disposable plastic spoon that came with it. This is so affordable at hust PHP70!
LECHE FLAN: For lovers of the sweet kind of flan, this is perfect. The body is solid, generously made but still has that delicately smooth texture. Worth serving for own sweets or as dessert during family events for just PHP150 each!
Hopefully we could get to...
Read moreI have been here several times with my family and I can confidently say that I have always had a good experience here in terms of the quality of their food. Their staff were fine, most of them were accommodating. However there were times when they do not tell you right away what they dont have on their menu and they only tell you whats not available after you already ordered for that same food. And they do not recommend other foods to try just to compensate for that food that was not there to begin with. I am sure there is always room for improvement in this place. But so far so good, including the ambiance. Its definitely a good place to chill out and relax at the end of the day or the week. Their furnitures need some replacement since most of them looked old and worn out. Overall, I would still recommend it though. And whenever I get the chance to go back here, I would surely take my husband with me to try...

The pancit canton had good veggie-meat-noods ratio, not soggy/mushy, and not dry. The sizzling sisig hd more white onions than meat (not complaining though) and did not have mayo (again, no issue). The salted egg fried chicken was a pleasant surprise. It had probably one of the best tasting salted egg sauces and the chicken was still crispy even if drenched with the sauce. The service was fast (maybe because I was the only customer then). The place has an indoor air-con seating space, but the outdoor space was not bad (probably...
