Café Escudero — Restaurant in Quezon City

Its in the heart of broadcasting in the Philippines. Food and drinks are excellent, with second orders for pastries a must.

The ambiance is conducive for private meetings - when and where decisions are needed to be made. The place is homey for reading and relaxation and corporate for deal making. The place grows on you.

Been going to this cafe since 2005 when it was a part of a franchise for a chain of coffee shops and though the changes happened, the place remains a "home."

Prices are very reasonable, with pastas filling you up just right with the service crew whips up your order with charm.

One of the best Beef Salpicao we have tasted in metro manila. I hope they find a way to lower the cost without sacrificing the taste.

Update as of Aug 31, 2023: Me and my wife usually go here for dinner. We were really disappointed by the new waitresses, they were just ignoring us even though we called their attention. The place does not provide drinkable water for their customers which is mandated by the law in Quezon City. They force you to buy their expensive mineral water. The servings are small now, the Salpicao served did not include the streamed vegetables anymore. I hope the owners can turn...

We were the only ones there on a Saturday night around 9pm. The place is great for Tito's and Tita's who loves to chat the night away; except for the fact that their menu isn't completely stocked. Espresso machine is also broken; only brewed was served. Coffee beans lack smoothness but was bitter enough. The lack of customers might have contributed to the lack of servers and lack of enthusiasm from the servers.

This place has potential should it want to improve. Better seek help before operations need to...
