It was our 1st time here. Had a nightcap with the family after celebrating a dinner for Mom's birthday. We chose this place vs the other well-known coffee houses so we can try it and besides, it's on the same building where we were staying. Coffee was just alright, nothing spectacular. The cappucino I ordered seemed sweet for me. Waitstaff are OK except they need to be prompted for bussing out, finding a place for a big group, etc. It was quite full being a Saturday night. Wish they were more initiated and attentive though. The only thing that's really noticeable here is the fact that the place is adorned with so many flowers here and there and it is so IG-worthy. They have couches for a certain number of people but I feel some are not maximized. The place/portion we had was quite hot, too (at the 2nd Level ) and when I checked the other areas like the landing towards 2/F with the couch for 4-5 persons, its is so much cooler. Why is it like that? Maybe they can check on their ventilation/ aircon distribution. Anyhow, place is nice for hangout, easy and friendly talks and just chilling out. Some young people have their laptops and books and do their studying here. Works for them but for me - it is not a study place - depends maybe on the day or hours when it is not busy. Worth a visit when you're in the...
Read moreDined here for breakfast because of its convenient location and rave reviews but left extremely disappointed.
PROS: -Opens early and closes late -easy to locate -extensive dessert menu
CONS: -Limited meal offerings (the item I initially wanted was out of stock) -a bit overpriced -coffee was watered down -I ordered the Corned Beef and it tasted odd, it had a very "porky" and strange taste. Even the rice tasted old. -the place looks very nice in photos (really IG worthy) BUT in person, the copious amount of artificial flowers and foliage is enough to make one feel very stifled and oversatured with fakeness. The thought of the heaps of dust and dirt that have settled on the all decor is quite unsettling as well. -the utensils were FILTHY (it didn't help that some moronic customers disposed of their used sugar and creamer wrappers by throwing them into the packet station itself! Heck, there was a trash bin right beside it!) Ugh, Pilipinas. OVERALL VERDICT: Definitely not coming...
Read moreThis Coffee Project is despite on the nice look of the first sight probably one of the worst cofee shops. I will start with the coffee: I ordered macchiato but got very bad tasting capuchino, that couldn’t taste good even if put 2 bags of sugar. Second thing is sweet spaghetti with pesto, you don’t see this often and it tastes really really bad, it even includes milk. All their big tables have “reserved” sign on it, probably so that staff don’t need to clean it, because they really act slow, also not being nice. Internet is working only one hour after that you need to order again to get new code. Really sorry to say bad reviews but some customers get really irritated by very worse italian “copies”. It’s clear that with not putting any effort to the quality will never be not even one single percent near to some italian coffe shop or restaurant (which this one tries...
