McDonald's Edsa Panay — Restaurant in Quezon City

We went to eat here around 2 am just last week. We order and paid through the kiosk machine which did not produce any receipt, we immediately reported it to the counter staff to ensure that our order is on the system already and this won't happen to the next customer. I've repeated our order multiple times before they were able to check. Afterwards we waited until our order is available on the screen. However, customers who ordered after us were receiving their orders that has chicken, fries and mcfloat which we ordered but different in portion. We waited for 25 mins and when we went to the claiming counter our orders have not been prepared. We were willing to at least have fries and drinks before our chicken but none of that has been served early which most customer was able to get at that time except us. I’d like to share my thoughts about the service at the McDonald’s Quezon Avenue branch. We went there to eat because it was raining heavily outside, and we had just come from Antipolo which is quite far. We were already very tired that day and only had one umbrella to share. Unfortunately, someone inside the McDonald’s took our umbrella from the umbrella rack.. We were extremely frustrated because there were a lot of umbrellas there, yet ours was the one taken. I spoke to the manager, and his response devastated me. He said, “May mga ganun talagang customers, nangunguha ng payong.” I left feeling confused and disappointed. If they know this kind of thing happens often, why isn’t there a guard at the entrance? Or at the very least, why didn't the staff warn customers not to leave their umbrellas in the rack? This is one of the Mcdonald's branch that strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols. The staff were friendly and nice. I also appreciate that it is very spacious (and you can just base it on the picture I have here). It's so cool that they have one of those touch-screen monitors where you can customize your order, I also that they also have drive-thru, so they have all in here. I also notice that if you'll dine-in you'll be using real bowls and plates, instead of paper containers. We didn't wait that long for our food to be ready. My friends and I ate there and my fries were placed in a small bowl, I just loved it. Talking about reducing the usage and papers and plastics and how it impact our environmental concern, thank you Mcdonalds, you guys rock, thank you for taking the lead.
