Shake Shack - SM North Edsa — Restaurant in Quezon City

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Despite the mixed reviews I had heard about this popular chain, my visit left me impressed. They delivered a delightful dining experience.

First, let's talk about the food. We ordered the classic Shack Burger, the SmokeShack, and the Chicken Bites. Each item surpassed my expectations in both taste and quality. The Shack Burger was a flavor-packed, with a juicy patty, perfectly melted cheese, and a soft, buttery bun. The SmokeShack took things to a whole new level with its smoky bacon, savory cheese, and the unique touch of chopped cherry peppers. And the Chicken Bites were absolutely addictive - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor.

Some of the reviews I've read about Shake Shack is being overpriced. While it's true that Shake Shack is not the most affordable fast food option, the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience justify the price. The portion sizes were generous, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was evident. From the fresh beef to the carefully sourced ingredients, Shake Shack prioritizes quality above all else and in my opinion, it's worth every penny.

I would also like to commend Shake Shack for their commitment to sustainability. They use eco-friendly packaging and strive to minimize their environmental impact, which is a definite plus in my book.

In conclusion, my visit to Shake Shack exceeded all my expectations. The Shack Burger, SmokeShack, and Chicken Bites were nothing short of delicious, proving that the naysayers were mistaken. While some may argue that Shake Shack is overpriced, the quality of the food, exceptional service, and dedication to sustainability make it a standout fast-food chain in my eyes. If you’ve tried Shake Shack in the U.K., this place is a different story. The burger patties were flavoursome, not much grease and the American cheese was good quality, fries freshly cooked and everything was served hot.

Lemonade, made with real cane sugar, was the perfect mix of sweet and sour, I also went for the Manila Exclusive Ube Shake, as expected, delicious.

Bare in mind, everything we ordered cost the same as one burger, fries and a drink in the U.K. which made it extremely good value for money for a foreigner.

Would I go again? yes, with out a doubt.

Why only 4 stars? It’s my highest score that I give a restaurant on my first visit, the fifth star is awarded for consistency, after repeated visits or if I feel it was an exceptional experience.

Mall burger place. Accepts cash, credit cards and e-wallet payments. Massive seating capacity, leading me to believe a lot of folks want to eat here, particularly on the weekends. The interior decor and ambiance is a step above your usual mall restaurant.

Burger joint featuring burgers, shakes, beer and wine and sodas. They even offer food options if you brought your dog with you (or feel guilty leaving Fido at home and want to make it up to them when you return).

The burgers are fine. Not overly impressive and not disappointing. I ordered the Steakhouse burger which was decidedly smaller and less impressive than the photos of it plastered around the cashier. The taste was fine though. Fries are crinkle cut and crispy without being too salty. Request salt when you pick up your order and they'll give you packets of it. House-made lemonade had a refreshing tartness to it.

You won't regret eating here, but you likely won't remember it or burn with desire for...
