Dohtonburi delivers a vibrant and engaging dining experience that transcends a simple meal. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere buzzed with the delightful sizzle and aroma of Japanese comfort food. Our server, Nicx, was a true gem, offering attentive service and helpful guidance through the menu, making our experience seamless and enjoyable.

We started with the yakisoba, a delightful tangle of noodles, vegetables, and savory sauce. Each strand was perfectly coated, offering a satisfying blend of sweet and salty notes. It was a comforting and flavorful start.

Next, the star of the show: the okonomiyaki. The theatrical preparation right before our eyes was a spectacle in itself. The layers of cabbage, batter, and our chosen toppings were expertly assembled and cooked on the teppan. The result was a fluffy, savory pancake with a crispy exterior, bursting with umami. The interplay of textures and flavors was simply divine.

The yakiniku experience was equally captivating. The high-quality meats, cooked to our preference on the tabletop grill, were tender and juicy.

What truly elevated our dining experience was the attentive service from Nicx. She was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made sure we were comfortable and well-cared for throughout...

I came to this restaurant after hearing so much hype about it, expecting a great meal and a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality was far from the reputation.

From the moment we sat down, the service was painfully slow. It took an unusually long time just to take our order, and even longer for the food to arrive — despite the restaurant not being completely full. When the dishes finally came, the presentation was underwhelming and the taste didn’t match the price tag. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t anything worth coming back for, and certainly not worth the wait.

To make matters worse, the noise level inside was overwhelming. Conversations were drowned out by a mix of loud chatter, clanging plates, and blaring music. Instead of a relaxing meal, it felt like trying to eat in the middle of a crowded bus terminal.

For a place that’s rated so highly, I expected better in every aspect — food, service, and atmosphere. Sadly, it felt more like paying for a name than for an actual quality dining experience. If they focused less on the hype and more on delivering good food with attentive service in a pleasant setting, maybe it could live up to its reputation. But as it stands, this was one visit I won’t...

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service and unique style that your restaurant offers. From the very first time I dined at your establishment, I have been consistently impressed by the caring and attentive staff. Specially for Sir Jay-r who took care of us and smiled while serving us , The dedication and kindness shown by your team go above and beyond, making every visit a truly delightful experience. Not only do I admire the attentiveness of your staff, but I also adore the overall atmosphere and style of your restaurant. The restaurant's interior is themed. Its very pretty in a Japanese home-y type of vibe. There's mat seating in a room where you can sit with your legs hanging or folded. Nice for taking pictures if you're into that.Thank you once again for creating a place where I can enjoy not just a meal, but an unforgettable experience in DOHTONBORI Sm north edsa. I am truly grateful for the delightful moments I've had at your establishment, and I eagerly look forward to...

🌸Food - we ordered a lot and all of them didn't bring me down. I highly suggest for you to bring your friends and then order one of each kind so you can taste a bit of everything. It's a bit pricey but for the taste, it was really good. 💮Staff/service - This place offers to cook in front of you. The Ate girl or "nee-san" will bring the ingredients in front then cook it as if they were performing. She was able to assist us all through out. 🌸Place - it's quite big and I love the fact that you may be able to choose where to eat( especially if there's no line or wait) Loved the ambiance here, Japan-feels. They have a comfort room inside as well. They put so much effort in bringing their design and food together which really make it unique. 🌺 Recommend - 👍👍👍 yes, yes, yes. Will be back to try other foodies

Their Okonomiyaki is definitely A MUST TRY. Their ramen is OK. This is because I don't think the taste justifies the price. It is definitely delicious, but not worth it's price. I have tasted better ramen with lower price. We sat outside so we didn't have to cook it (IT WAS SO HOT INSIDE THE PLACE), I can't find any exhaust fan/pipes(like those you see at korean bbq places), so we chose to let them cook it and serve. (You can request this too, if you don't want to smell like bbq after). THE ONLY DOWNSIDE, is poor service. Yes, they are accomodating when you arrive, and look for seats. BUT, they are all so busy that you should wait at least AN HOUR, when getting your bill. AND ADD HALF AN HOUR, for processing your receipt. TL;DR OKONOMIYAKI IS GREAT! RAMEN IS OK (FOR ITS PRICE) SERVICE IS SLOW THOUGH.
