This is a small place but with great tasting food!
We came here with the thought that we will be eating buffet as what weโve read in the reviews. However, maybe because of the pandemic, they no longer have buffet but you have to order on a per viand.
I could say it is worth coming here. The food really taste great and well presented. We actually ordered beef kare kare, half fried chicken and the cebu lechon (I think itโs belly). For the lechon belly they served different sauces, soy, vinegar, and one tasted like mang tomas. For the kare kare, the vegetable really tasted fresh and the meatโs tenderness is just right.
The fried chickenโs crispiness is also just right.
The staff was there serving us, including pouring water in our glasses. You see this is not a big resto in a five star hotel but the service offered felt like one.
after our dinner, We planned to watch the comedy show (yes they have a place for comedy) but we were told it will start at seven in the evening. Since I was already very full and it made me sleepy, we opted not to wait for the show. My friends would have wanted to see boobsie the comedian and the others who were supposed to perform.
aside from the comedy bar, they have SPA place. if it wouldnโt be because of the pandemic, we would have also tried their spa. although there were also people getting the spa. i was just very careful not to catch the virus in case one has inside the spa.
oh by the way, you can choose to dine outside ( they have a frame displaying actors, actressess and politicians vising their placr) or you can eat inside in an air conditioned room. your choice. but in this place, i would go again for the food, they really taste great.
see the menu i have uploaded for you to know the different viands and the...

You can't go wrong with Chef Laudico's food (Does Guevarra's in San Juan ring a bell?), especially his cheesecake. Maybe it was a bit late when we arrived as they only had dark chocolate, and quezo de bola cheesecake. Not sure if they serve my fave mango cheesecake. ๐ Coffee is served in a cup, and not in a mug (so you'll get the idea of the amount,) but the price is proportionate. Ambiance is homey, and much like the Chef's other restaurants, it has a Filipino theme. Prepare to be serenaded through the night by a talented acoustic singer. Surprisingly, the songs he sang were in English! Maybe he figured that trendy songs, (Ed Sheeran's, mostly) will be more appreciated by the millennial diners that night. Staff were friendly & accommodating though they were packed! I'd definitely comeback if time permits (Makati is...
ย ย ย Read moreTribu has been our reliable training partner for our internship program. Despite the pandemic, Tribu has continuously accepted and has provided a venue for our youth composed of young mothers and out-of-school to have their two weeks on-the-job training (OJT) consisting of food service and clerical work.
Our youth has benefitted immensely from this OJT as they have become more prepared in their job search. As a matter of fact, most of our interns have found gainful employment @ Alorica, VXI, Wings on Wheels, Inspiro and TelePerformance.
We are proud of our partnership with Tribu and we can only wish for their continous support...
