12 May 2024, around 4pm, 1 pax. (sorry no pictures this time). In spite of it being Mother's Day, only 3 tables were occupied when I went in, and so I got seated immediately. What's even more surprising is that even for a restaurant, the noise level was very low, and this allowed me to enjoy a book while waiting for my order. Also, the manager asked about any dietary restrictions, along with my name and contact number. Make of that what you will. While looking over the menu, I ordered draft beer, and they have Sapporo (PHP 398)! It arrived in just a minute or two, probably because they saw that I was sweating from the damn heat. I eventually ordered the grilled salmon (PHP 1,488) but on the recommendation of my assigned server, I also agreed to have the soup of the day (it was mushroom! PHP 488). After taking my order, she assisted in placing the napkin on my lap. The soup came within a reasonable time, and the salmon was served about 7 minutes after they cleaned up my soup plate. And every now and then, not only did my assigned server ask how the food was, she was also quick to refill my glass of water, unprompted. The soup was nice. The side salad that came with the grilled salmon was to my liking, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. I intend to come back here. I know that the price is on the high side, but with their level of service, the good food (and not-at-all-skimpy serving size), and the low noise, I'm willing to pay for it. Cash and card payments are accepted, but I am sure...
Read moreWe recently dined at the Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Gateway Cubao and tried their Classic Burgers—a simpler option compared to their signature steaks, but still something we were excited to try from a world-renowned steakhouse.
The beef quality was definitely good, tender and well-cooked, but we felt it was missing that distinct smoky, grilled flavor you’d expect from a high-end burger. To bring out more depth, we found ourselves reaching for extra steak sauce and mustard—which thankfully were readily available and did enhance the flavor.
That said, the overall experience was still pleasant. The ambiance is classy and comfortable, with a touch of that classic steakhouse elegance. Service was attentive and professional, adding to the overall satisfaction of the visit.
If you’re coming for a premium burger experience, just expect a more subtle flavor profile. Still, it’s a good spot for a laid-back but upscale meal in the...
Read moreI want to give a high rating for this place because the wait staff was very attentive and friendly.
But I can't help it that the food sucks.
We paid 20k+ for below average food.
The taste was just so so---Spiral or even Mamou is infinitely better.
For the astronomical price, the food didn't have any side dishes nor condiments.
Lamb was also undercooked.
We had to request it to be cooked well . No condiments nor side dishes except for the mint spread which didn't really fare well.
Seafood salad was under-seasoned and didn't have any condiment aside from a slice of lemon and their house sauce (tastes like ketchup and doesn't even match well with the seafood).
Consolation is the unlimited bread servings. We ordered 3-4 times just to make up for the amount of money spent on mediocre food.
I'd rather spend...
