UNREAL. TRANSCENDENT. Okay, I donât know what happened, but I went in for a casual bite and left spiritually altered. This place? Itâs not just a restaurant/bar â itâs a dimension. A vibe. A religion.
First off: the pizza? Not just pizza. Itâs a crispy, cheesy disc of divine intervention. I took one bite and blacked out. Came to with a single tear rolling down my cheek and a waiter gently whispering, âItâs okay, youâre safe now.â Then came the truffle pasta. Listen. Iâve had truffle pasta before. But this? This was like being hugged by a billionaire Italian grandmother who knows your soul and forgives your every mistake. Creamy, decadent, possibly illegal in some countries. And the risotto. OH the risotto. Creamy, dreamy, and somehow⊠melodic? I swear I heard it purr. Or maybe that was the table next to me moaning softly. Either way, it sounded good. Everything sounded good. Fork clinks, soft laughter, House Music â it was like a vibe for your whole existence.
Ambiance: Candlelight. Soft glow. People wearing outfits that say, âI read books, but also party in Florence.â Someone had a dog in a scarf. No idea why, no complaints.
Final verdict: Come for the pizza. Stay for the spiritual rebirth. Bring someone you love, or want to impress, or want to emotionally ruin with flavor....

We tried the clam chowder, seafood risotto, margherita pizza, and US Angus roast beef. The clam chowder was decent but nothing standout. The margherita pizza was the highlightâlight, not greasy, and well-balanced in flavor. Unfortunately, the other dishes leaned on the salty side for our taste. The seafood risotto was flavorful but had two clams that tasted oddly bitter and salty, unsure if that was intentional or just a personal taste preference. The US Angus roast beef was surprisingly tough and felt like it could've used a bit more cooking time. Honestly, for the quality of the food we ordered, it did feel expensive for what it was.
One small note: while the restaurant looks polished and sophisticated, the restroom could use some attention as cleaning supplies were just chucked under the sink and there were used toilet paper on the floor 𫣠very out of place given the overall aesthetic.
That said, Iâd probably still return, maybe to try their drinks which they seem to...

The lasagna and cordon bleu are recent additions to the menu, and theyâre both really, really good â flavorful, well-prepared, and a cut above the usual cafĂ© fare.
The price point is on the higher side, but it seems intentional, catering to a more specific market looking for a mix of comfort and elevated dining. Still, the quality makes it worth a try for anyone looking to explore something new in the area.
Whatâs also great is how adaptable CafĂ© 205 is throughout the day. Whether youâre in for a brunch catch-up in the morning or staying into the evening when the vibe shifts â complete with a DJ and upbeat music â the space transforms effortlessly from cozy cafĂ© to a more vibrant spot to unwind.
Itâs nice to see a cafĂ© thatâs not afraid to evolve, update its menu, and bring something different to the table. Definitely worth...
