TL;DR: We love Kko kko but it's been disappointing recently. Chicken parts are really small. The most recent delivery we got, the chick was 75% bones, 15% skin (which are really flavorful), 10% chicken meat.

I still remember the first time we ate at Kko Kko. We ordered two-piece chicken with rice. I got Fire Chili and my wife got Classic Soy. When the chickens got served we were surprised to see how big the serving was. Both parts on the plate were really big. The fire chili chicken was really good and really spicy. I had a hard time finishing mine because I got full. After that day, we would always go to Kko Kko every Saturday to eat. I've been regularly ordering one-piece then because as I've said before, the chicken parts were really big. Way better than Bon chon because I think Bon chon is more like fast food-ish (correct me if I'm wrong).

One Saturday, as usual, my wife and I ordered one-piece chickens. When my fire chili was served, I got the usual big part. Happy as usual. Then my wife's classic soy got served but there were two pieces of chicken. We were both puzzled and asked why. The waiter explained that they included a complimentary part because the first part was "too small". Looking at it, it was actually still decent in size. But hey, thanks. My wife enjoyed it.

We really loved Kko kko. My daughter loves the fries. Whenever we ask her where she would like to eat she would always say Kko kko even when we're home. So we ordered Kko kko for delivery most times too. Same orders. Chicken parts were still big. We loved it. Until recently.

Our recent delivery orders have been disappointing. We still order one-piece chickens but the parts have been "noticeably small". We've been giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe next time it'll be the usual big chicken parts. And then we got used to it. Even when we eat in-store the parts were not as big as it used too. But I still loved the chicken. Still flavorful as ever.

Today we've ordered delivery again. I was extremely disappointed to see that the chicken part was even smaller. I was really hungry and I just wanted to eat we did. I got the part that is "75% bones, 15% skin and 10% chicken meat". It's really sad.

I hope they would put more heart when serving delivery orders. As a regular customer, It's sad that they're taking advantage of delivery customers that are maybe too hungry or busy to complain or avoids hassle.

I'm giving them 1 star because I'm really upset and I'm hoping they would notice. I might give it more star because to be fair, chicken still tastes great. I hope they would...

Giving a 4 star just because flies entered the restaurant. Food is really flavorful. The Kimchi rice is the best. Big serving of food, especially the 2 piece chicken. Didn't expect that. Although the Garlic flavor, can't really taste the garlic on it, tasted like their normal chicken. Service was excellent. Restaurant design has a comfy feel to it. Will definitely go back and try the...

We ordered the cheese dip and korean noodles. It tasted nothing special. It was very basic and a bit overpriced. The noodles looked like instant noodles and you will pay 500+ for it. I prefer other restaurants. However, its redeeming quality was the ambience. The place was great. It has wooden walls and plastic greenery and I loved hanging out in here. The downside was the food....

People usually come here for the cheese fondue. Half serving is 600+ pesos while whole serving is 1000+. Few ramen choices - and everything is spicy. Small serving of kimchi was not available when we were there so I was forced to order the bigger serving (which, I was told, was actually packed for takeout). They take a polaroid picture of you which you can write on and post on their walls.

Had high expectations but I miserably failed. The cheese fondue is so-so; the chicken for me is overbreaded. The cut of the onion rings is big. The japchae and bibimbap is lacking in taste too. Their bingsu version doesn't have the jelly and macha anymore - photo version on menu looks more enticing.
