Got recommended by a friend to try this place out but the experience left a bad taste. The staff are undertrained and are unable to resolve issues. Customer service levels are terrible that I don't think I will ever go back to them. Food is relatively decent but definitely not worth the experience.

Details below:

Our group arrived for dinner prior to 7pm and we were 2nd on the waiting list. The location is small and it was a Friday night, so we understood that we had to wait. At around 730pm, tables started to open up and the first on the waiting list went in. We noticed there were 3 empty 2-seater tables beside each other inside that would fit our group and expected the staff would be soon calling us in. At 740pm, we were wondering why they have yet to call us. We spoke to the staff pointing at the empty table inside but they said they are waiting for the big group outside to finish and give the outside table for our group. We didn't understand this situation but the other big group heard this and asked for the bill to give way to us.

Over 40mins of waiting even with available seats inside, we are now able to sit and order. Orders were straightforward, the staff repeated the correct orders. 20mins later, drinks came out with the wrong count. A few minutes later, dishes started to come out 1 at a time and at the end, 2 dishes were not ordered (one was out of stock and the other wasn't recorded even though it was the first dish ordered and confirmed by the staff after repeating our orders). Good thing they were quick with the bill or else they would have just utterly failed.

All in all, the service experience was terrible. Even with decent food I...

It’s not easy to find good Thai food restaurants in Metro Manila but this place I would say is an exception. I’d give the food a 4.5 out of 5.

We tried the following dishes:

red curry chicken stir fry holy basil chicken stir fry chicken fried rice

All super tasty and would definitely recommend for being closer to authentic Thai than any other restaurant in the metro.

Atmosphere is quite basic. It’s not a high class joint. But it’s not trying to be. Comfortable enough.

Service is great - the staff are super friendly and on the ball.

Cleanliness could be a bit better. There’s a few too many flies around and tables could do with a bit more regular cleaning I would say, but the cleanliness is certainly not too bad overall.

For what this place is trying to be, which I guess is a budget friendly, nothing too fancy, authentic Thai restaurant, I think it does...

Good food, super bad service. Ordered Pad Krapow Moo Sub and waited for an hour (or maybe more) for it to arrive. I know it doesn't take a long time to make cause I already ordered that before. When we had it followed up, one of the waiters kept on insisting that they already served it and that we already ate it like ?? why would we even lie about that. They were pertaining to our other order- Pad Krapow Moo Krob. They admitted that they already marked it as served (even if it wasn't really served yet) but still kept on putting it on us.

First time to encounter na the waiters were putting their mistake on the customers. Super bad service.

Also I've tried eating at their Pasay branch, service there was normal and the spiciness level of our orders there were perfect. In this branch BGC, it seems like they overdid the spiciness level...

The Som Tam Thai was spicy, which we liked. Pad See Ew Gai (wide noodles) serving might not be enough for one person with a big appetite *LOL*, but tasted good. Khao Pad Gai (chx fried rice) tasted great but they served it last. We were finished eating by the time they served it. Based on my observation, seems like the kitchen missed to cook it. Pad Krapow Moo Sub was our favorite. We ordered sharing and it was more than enough for a group of four considering we ordered other dishes. Chicken red curry and Tom Yum were nothing special. Maybe best to visit during unholy hours as the service differed when there were more people. Servers were attentive but the food came out one at a time which I personally dislike. Price is well justified by the taste. (forgot to take photos cos they serve one dish at a time, so was super hungry already lol).

We were sat inside, and I'm not sure if this was the norm, but it was boiling hot. The A/C seemed like it was working but maybe the ventilation wasn't enough. Super uncomfortable dining experience, made worse that the kitchen was backed up. Pad See Ew Gai: Tasted really plain, and even though the woks were going behind us, I couldn't taste much smoky wok flavour. The noodles were also overcooked and falling apart into bits. Nam Tok Kor Moo Yang: The pork jowl was nicely marbled. But be warned that this dish was unbearably spicy. My spice tolerance is decent, I lived in Thailand for a year and ate similar dishes, but this dish was on another level of spiciness. Add to the fact that the restaurant was so hot, we had to pack this one to go and run to safe haven. Would I return? At this price point, probably not.
