I go there every day. Incredible selection. Great staff. Really good afternoon hangout. UPDATE: CHANGED TO ONE STAR. this was my go-to hangout. I bought donuts and drinks on average 2x per day, 30 days per month. Selection is great. Donuts are great. Staff is great. Staff works hard. But the ordering process is so slow that there is nearly always a queue, sometimes as high as 17. Last time I suffered thru a 17 queue it took 26 minutes. The ownership has SO MANY STEPS in place to process one order that it is not doable. The staff tries hard to get thru the process but the steps are the steps and no way to cut the steps. Customer comes in and has 15 minutes or more in the queue to figure out what they want. It's time to order and pay but they have no idea what they want so they THEN start to thinking about it, asking a million questions about specials and deals that MIGHT save them 2 pesos. Finally they order. Staff starts to go thru the long long process of ringing in the order. Then it's time to pay. But that one customer has now held up the queue for 6 minutes and is bolted to realize it's time to pay. You can see them thinking. Oh. Ok. Giggle giggle. I am so lovely and cute. Now just where did I put that cash card? Which purse could it possibly be in? Meanwhile I've been in the queue 17 minutes WITH MY CARD IN MY HAND. Finally they find a card. Oops. Wrong card. The fishing starts again. The queue grows longer. Then they change the order.. Eventually they find one that works but there is now a whole new procedure where amounts have to be entered on their phone and then scanned by the staff. Maybe it works, maybe not. Then what seems like 120 key clicks have to be entered one one machine and maybe also the card has to be scanned on another device, which doesn't work and must be rebooted. Meanwhile the queue grows. And how was YOUR day muddling through this at Krispy Kreme. High street? My turn comes. I already have my drinks and my card is IN MY HAND. They give me the amount. I hand them the card. Should be 5-7 more seconds to completion. Nope. The swiping and scanning and and never ending key clicking begins. It will be another 60-90 seconds before I can finally walk away. I tried to go today. Queue was well out the door. I am done waiting what could have been a full 30 minutes just to buy a donut. I'll try another donut stand. Done. Is there a manager there or not? Are they stone cold blind? Start by erecting LARGE CLEAR SIGNS advising customers to figure out their orders BEFORE they get to the register. This requires 4.3 seconds of simple thought. Then tell them to HAVE PAYMENT READY. IS IT REALLY THIS BAD? NO. it's worse. UPDATE: Last purchase today. You can spend 25-30 minutes in the queue just trying to buy one donut. They will NOT cool their water or drinks so you must ask for ice every single time. They will give you a Dixie cup, or enough for a cat. Ive told them a thousand times I am more than happy to PAY for a normal cup of ice but they simply can NOT grasp that. Today was the last straw. that's enough. It's one of the most backwardly operated places I have ever wasted my time in. great donuts, great location, but most dumbly run shop around. After a year and a half, zero improvement. These people should not be running...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts branch at Highstreet in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), and it was a delightful experience that satisfied my sweet tooth and more.
The shop is conveniently located in the heart of the bustling Highstreet, making it an excellent spot for a quick bite amidst shopping or a relaxing break from the office. Its inviting glass exterior, showcasing a live view of doughnuts being prepared, never fails to pique the interest of passersby.
Upon entering, you are welcomed by a clean, warm, and brightly lit interior. The open concept design gives it a modern and spacious feel. The seating area, though limited, is comfortable, with plush seats and sleek tables. This location does tend to get crowded during peak hours, so it might be challenging to get a spot.
Krispy Kreme's doughnut selection is as varied and delectable as ever. Classic favorites like Original Glazed and Chocolate Iced Glazed are always reliably delicious, but their seasonal offerings are worth a try too. I sampled their summer specials, the Mango Doughnut and Coconut Cream Pie Doughnut, both of which were excellent, with the right balance of sweetness and a fresh, fruity twist.
The freshness of the doughnuts is exceptional. You can watch them being made right before your eyes, which not only ensures their quality but also adds a fascinating touch to your visit. Warm, soft, and with the perfect glaze, each doughnut hits the right notes of comfort food.
Beyond doughnuts, the beverage selection is quite impressive. Their Signature Coffee and range of chillers are delightful companions to the doughnuts. I tried the Mocha Latte, and it was rich and well-balanced, complementing the sweetness of the doughnuts.
The customer service is another highlight of this Krispy Kreme branch. The staff are amiable and prompt, which enhances the overall experience. They were knowledgeable about their products and were happy to recommend options based on preferences.
There were a few downsides, though. As mentioned earlier, seating can be a problem during busy hours. In addition, while the doughnuts are a treat, the prices might seem a bit steep for some. Nonetheless, given the quality and taste, it is worth the occasional splurge.
In conclusion, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at Highstreet in BGC offers a satisfying doughnut experience with a cozy ambiance, an array of delicious choices, and commendable customer service. It's a must-visit for doughnut lovers or anyone with a sweet tooth craving some comfort food. There's room for improvement in terms of seating and pricing, but overall, it’s a great spot for a sweet indulgence in the...
Read moreAlways love the Original glaze, I can eat a dozen in one sitting.... Been here for several times and last night was the 1st time I felt uneasy in this place. Was waiting on queue to give our donut order but was ignored, the guy behind us was assisted 1st. No smile from the start, well I am not asking for a smile, at least make your customers feel welcomed. When it's our turn to place our order, I wanted to order the Perfect together; refresher and original glaze, but the cashier informed that it doesn't apply with the frozen lemonade refresher. This is not the 1st time I order this, if it is not allowed then why other cashier gives it a go. Shouldn't the mechanics of it be known to all of your staff? I was observing the 2 cashiers and all of those in front of us were told about the survey thingy, but it was not mentioned to us. Selective? Or they have an idea who they give a good service to? I will give an extra star for the service because the other lady was very pleasant and welcoming to...
