Disappointing Customer Service Experience

Unfortunately, my recent visit to this restaurant was marked by a series of disappointing interactions. Seating Arrangement: We were seated outside, directly under the sun. We asked if there might be a fan to provide a bit of airflow. The waiter replied that there was only one fan, and the extension cord wouldn’t reach our area, essentially implying that we should simply endure the heat. A more considerate response or alternative solution would have made a difference. Order-Taking Interaction: While we were placing our order, the waitress was distracted, talking to another waiter and giving instructions without so much as a polite “excuse me” to acknowledge us. It felt unprofessional and inattentive. Delayed Service and Rude Response: After waiting 30 minutes, we followed up on our order. The waiter informed us, “There are other customers who followed up ahead of you.” This response felt dismissive and rude. A more courteous reply acknowledging the delay would have been appreciated instead of making it seem like we had to adjust to their backlog.

Overall, the experience left us feeling disregarded and dissatisfied. Improving customer service would go a long way in creating a better...

Nice atmosphere. Staff is good. However:

Food: their version of “avocado toast” is lackluster at best. Massive, thick bread (not really toasted), great presentation for your IG lol, comes with maybe 2 shrimp sliced like deli meat, 1 poached egg (this was actually pretty tasty), BUT the avocado…it’s like they scooped up some avocado, got ready to smear it on the bread, and then last minute dumped the scoop back in the bowl and rubbed whatever remained on the bread. THE thinnest application of avocado I’ve ever seen in my life. You can’t even taste the avocado. Should be called “warm bread a la essence of avocado with a half side salad sprinkled on top for looks”

Service: wait staff, like most of the PH are super nice. Why the 2 stars? Service of the restaurant as business fails. It’s a coffee shop that offers unique coffee beans and SOMETIMES different brewing methods. They offered Aeropress on the menu but according to the staff was not an option they he’d offered anymore for some time. Just take it off the f€** menu then. Or at worst tape over the option so people don’t look at the whole menu, get a decision made only to find out the unique, not cheap coffee shop doesn’t have that...

Monday 3PM, restaurant has only a few people. Nobody bothered to serve for 15mins. Had to go grab the menu myself. Waited for another 10mins, still nobody came out to take my order.

Ordered a wagyu burger (no cheese, and upgraded to truffle fries), a mocha and a glass of water. Mocha came within 5 mins or so. Wagyu burger came after 40 mins (literally nobody is eating at the restaurant at this time). Burger came with cheese, so they took it back to redo. Burger came after 10mins. Then I realized fries are not truffle fries. Sent back to kitchen again. Manager came serving the dish with new fries again. Still not truffle fries and I invited the manager to try it himself. Also beef patty is fried not grilled super hard and charred (black bits everywhere) on the surface and dry on the inside. Manager said it’s usually medium well, to me it is not even well done, it’s excellent. Ohhhh and my glass of water finally got served at this point. :D

0 customer eating. Took them 1 hour to prep my food and got it wrong over and over. Left after 2 bites.

From service team to kitchen crew, it looks like they have all the recipe for closing...
