Make reservation! First day we came they were fully booked and have to send people who have no reservation back, including us. So we make reservation for the next day on the spot. It was a delight! The people is nice and attentive without being intrusive, the vibe, the music, the place, everything was great but the food is something else! I ordered the beer braised pork knuckle, when it arrived I was a bit skeptic because the skin was not crispy, BUT, when I bite into it.. it's simply the best pork knuckle I've ever tasted! And whenever a restaurant offer pork knuckle I always go for it, so I've tried many!! My husband had the schnitzel with egg, it was also delish! We were too full after only the main course, so sadly we cannot try their dessert. And it was our last night in Gdansk, so we cannot come back for more :( Don't be fooled by its location, it's not a tourist trap!!

This is a very popular place among foreign tourists. Conveniently located on a beautiful embankment near the pedestrian area near the Vistula River. The open area offers a magnificent view. This restaurant has very tasty cheesecake, I recommend it. But the dishes here are prepared in a very risky format for the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Almost all dishes are fried excessively in vegetable oil until crispy and brown (not golden). Flounder or potatoes are deep-fried, and even !!!! vegan cutlets and the like. If you have a weak stomach or pancreas, do not take risks, any dish may not be friendly to you. Prices are higher than the city average. This is not traditional Polish cuisine, but very commercial - designed for guests (mostly foreigners) for a one-time visit. Conclusion: expensive beer pub with very overcooked greasy food. Take care of yourself by washing down fatty foods with cold beer. For service, service and interior I give 5 stars, for food 2.5 stars.

We had a great dinner in this traditionally decorated polish restaurant. It is located in a nice spot next to the canal. The staff was friendly and polite. The service was quick for the starters and beverages but a bit slow for the main courses (maybe due to the number of customers at the time of serving us). The food was good. We would prefer to be more salty. The portions were awesome with the exception of the salads which were small. The desserts were good, especially the one with the apple pie but in general do not expect to find them sweet enough. Prices are higher than the local market rates but the total experience (food, service, live music, decorations) compensated us. For the records, including the tip (10% of the bill) we paid 150zloti per person. Nice variety of beers also. Choose the triplet. Prefer to book a table prior to your arrival. Highly recommended

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had overseas. While slightly more expensive than other places in Gdańsk, it was still sooo much more affordable than other European cities. Many of the mains are under €20 and HUGE. Seriously. They are massive and could probably feed a small European country. We had a few starters to share. The beef tartare, which I’ve always wanted to try but never been game enough, was absolutely delightful and I’ll definitely be having more in the future. Then we followed that up with the board of pâté, both the boar and duck 🦆. Really decent portions and beautiful presentation. We also had to try the tomato soup which was delicious and could be a small meal in itself. We finished by trying the pork ribs which were absolutely incredible. The portion was incredibly generous and were certainly glad we shared. A must try in Gdańsk.

Great place right by the channel in the very city center. Even though located in the touristic spot, the quality of the food is truly fine. We visited this restaurant twice - both were family dinners and never regretted. The owner says that the best tatar is server here - and he is probably right, this dish tastes amazing with different shades of flavor. This, highly recommend. The other dishes we tried was schnitzel - truly huge meal, so if you are super hungry, definitely worth of choosing. Also, we tried churches liver (delicious), cooked fermented cabbage (yummy), and golonka (perfectly done). Highly recommend to visit this place once in Gdańsk and to taste traditional meals with the unique vibe.

We visited this place during work placement here for 3 days....place is very popular so seats are fully occupied during dinner time. We were sitting outside near the river promenade, they have life performance and the musician was great his music choice was more instrumental so we loved it. Food is mostly traditional polish cuisine but whatever you choose everything is delicious. We had tomato soup, pierogi, steak, kaliflori with mushrooms and walnuts and local crafted beer. Waiters are nice, due to touristic spot they speak English aswell. I went here also next evening just alone and had some hot chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet again very delicious 😋
