Absolutely abysmal, without doubt the worst “pancakes” I’ve ever had.

Not the biggest pancake fan anyway but my girlfriend loves them so we thought we’d try this place out, seemed to have good reviews, always looked busy and had a wide variety of options. But we were left extremely disappointed.

After being seated it took an eternity to take our order, drinks took forever to arrive and then what landed on our table was not what we expected at all.

My girlfriend ordered the strawberries and cream pancake combo which she assumed would be with fresh strawberries but instead was basically a strawberry jam style compote that was runny and lacked flavour and thin runny cream.

Mine was even worse - 4 huge pancakes which were not light and fluffy at all, so so dense with 2 small pieces of bacon which was not crispy in the slightest, probably enough to maybe combine and eat with 1 pancake at most! Thin maple syrup which yet again was measly in amount and not thick enough to make the pancakes any more edible.

Definitely would not recommend unless you’re planning to reclad a house or need a good alternative...

I wouldn't recommend this place to families with small children. So we went in, and after a good 20 min the waitress came, took our order and since we were with small kids, one and 6 years old, we didn't order any special drinks. So the waitress tells us that for 4 creppes we were gonna wait for 1 hour. Then other people came after us, even in bigger groups and got served and finished and left within an hour. We still did not get anything after 1 hour and 20 min of waiting. When I got the attention of the waitress and asked, she said that yes it is possible for others to get orders faster than you and that she will check when our order will eventually be ready. She said another 6 min, well not the case, another 20 min and we got served. My husband was convinced it was because we did not get the drinks, but anyhow, we felt really bullied. And waiting with a one year old almost 2 hours in a restaurant is a no no. The pancakes and crepes were not even medium quality, our hotel breakfast offered way...

These are not the pancakes you are looking for. Its not described clearly in the menu so we made a mistake and got these square ones. They stuff their pancakes! All the good stuff is mushed up inside like puke! Normally I eat everything, but these were not edible.

They were nice enough (thats why they didn’t get 1 star) to not charge us and offer us a second chance for the “American pancakes” which are hot cakes. But these were not fluffy or particularly nice. And didn’t have half the cool toppings the square pancakes had. Hard to go wrong with pancakes and by their name they seemed to be experts. But not. And the place is not cosy either. Go outside and find some...
