I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable establishment just a couple of days ago, and I simply couldn't resist sharing my delightful experience. Nestled on one of the busiest streets of Gdansk, this hidden gem offers a culinary haven that exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
Let's start with the star of the show—the food. From the moment the dishes arrived at our table, it was evident that great care and attention had been invested in their preparation. The flavors were exceptional, leaving our taste buds tingling with pleasure. Each plate was a work of art, showcasing a symphony of colors and textures that delighted both the eyes and the palate. Moreover, the portion sizes were impressively generous, ensuring that we left the restaurant feeling utterly satisfied.
Admittedly, the prices at this establishment might be slightly higher than average, but the quality and presentation of the food more than justified the cost. While some dishes might be considered a tad overpriced, it didn't detract from the overall experience. After all, indulging in culinary excellence is a worthy investment.
Now, let me take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the impeccable service provided by the waitstaff. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and knowledge of the menu truly enhanced our dining experience. They were prompt in addressing our needs, offering insightful recommendations, and ensuring that every request was met with a warm smile. Their passion for hospitality shone through, and it's clear that the staff takes great pride in providing an exceptional dining experience.
One of the unexpected surprises of this establishment is its unique location. Despite being situated on one of the busiest streets in Gdansk, the cleverly designed enclosure of the outdoor seating area offered a shield from the hustle and bustle of the city. It created a serene and cozy atmosphere where we could enjoy our meal without feeling overwhelmed by the surrounding crowds. The arrangement allowed us to escape the chaos of the busy street, granting us a peaceful haven to savor our culinary journey.
Moreover, I must commend the establishment for effectively managing the flow of tourists. Despite being located in a popular tourist destination, the layout and arrangement of the venue ensured that the crowds remained at bay, not disturbing the tranquility we sought. This attention to detail further enhanced our experience and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the ambiance of the restaurant fully.
In conclusion, my visit to this establishment left an indelible mark on my culinary adventures in Gdansk. The exceptional cuisine, exquisite presentation, and generous portion sizes combined with the attentive service of the waitstaff and the serene ambiance to create a truly memorable experience. While some dishes may come with a slightly higher price tag, it is a small price to pay for the pleasure and satisfaction derived from dining at this hidden gem. If you're seeking an escape from the noisy streets, yet crave a culinary adventure, this place is an...
Read moreI don't even know where to start. It was a rainy afternoon and in a need of a quick fix, me and my man landed in KOS. Restaurant was nice and clean , waitress smiling and responsive. We ordered a starter, beet carpacio, and it was tasty to this point we where very happy. Time for the main came we ordered chicken teriaki and vegetarian curry( I asked for extra spicy but was informed it's not an option, that I can have Tabasco on the side, I agreed )and those dishes just blew us into a void of some sort. Teriaki was this mix of dry chicken in a water consistency broth ,colored like piss of dying person ,salty piss. Vegetable cooked to a point in where picking it with a fork was like a skill challenge. But the star of the evening was the curry, mash beyond all mashes in texture like baby food from a forgotten foster home in deep deep Soviet Union. Incredible deep flavor of nothing it was so tasteless I could not believe it's possible for it to be actual food. We abandoned the attempt of eating this mad cellulose factory food. On the way out , I had to see the faces of people that created this experience. And seeing a guy in a kitchen blowing his nose in a pile of kitchen towel sitting next to his prep station no washing hends noir nothing, was like a cherry on big pile of poop. Only advice, stay away from...
Read moreWe were waiting the queue for an over 20 mins, once the waiter came, she said that no available seats are outside, only inside, however there were 3 of them free on the yard. Then she said that we cannot sit outside because those tables are for bigger groups, and again there were tables where only one or 2 ppl were sitting. After waiting for 5 mins, we haven’t received our menu, and the other people who were after us they already got the menu and were ready to order. We asked for the manager, she declined that request , we asked if there is any problem, she replied yes she has a problem with us as we haven’t sit inside as she said. After asking for the manager, another waiter came and asked if we are ready to order, we said that we would like to talk with the manager. Afterwards, a different lady with gloves came ( who didnt look like a manager at all, because of the uniform and gloves, and lack of English, however the place is located in the heart of Gdańsk, where are a plenty of tourists, no name of “manager” was given as she never introduced herself which is not professional for a real manager). We told to that lady the whole situation we faced with the waiter in Polish and got a response that maybe the waiter just has a bad day and that’s it! We are really shocked from the attitude and behavior...
