BonŽur Restaurant in Gdansk: A Must-Visit Place for Extraordinary Let me start by saying that a visit to BonŽur restaurant in Gdansk is highly recommended. Although this review reflects a 4-star rating, please note that it's not a reflection of the exceptional service we received during our visit. The staff at BonZur went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant, we were treated with utmost care and attention. The setting of the place is truly remarkable, creating an ambiance that is perfect for various occasions. Whether you're planning a romantic date, a delightful dinner with your partner, or a joyous family celebration, BonŽur offers a beautiful backdrop to elevate your experience. Now, let's delve into the heart of the matter—the food. We came to BonŽur with high hopes of savoring the renowned žurek, a delightful Polish specialty. And while the žurek itself was flavorful and satisfying, there was one missing component that left us wanting more—bread. In our opinion, the žurek would have been elevated to new heights if it had been accompanied by a freshly baked loaf. It's a small detail that can make a big difference in the overall enjoyment of the dish. As someone hailing from the Czech Republic, I couldn't help but harbor reservations about the beer selection at BonŽur. The local beer didn't quite meet my personal preferences for a dish like žurek. I would have recommended a more bitter beer that would have perfectly complemented the sourness of the žurek. However, it's important to note that taste in beer can be subjective, and others may find the selection to their liking. Despite these minor points, I am eager to return to BonŽur. Why, you may ask? Well, for starters, their wine list is simply outstanding. Wine enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice with an array of options to pair with their delectable meals. Additionally, I can't wait to indulge in their mussels, which I've heard are absolutely exquisite. The chic and stylish environment of BonŽur is a testament to their commitment to excellence. From the clean and well-maintained spaces to the uniformity in design, every detail has been carefully curated to provide a visually appealing and comfortable atmosphere. In conclusion, BonŽur in Gdansk is a culinary haven that should not be missed. While there were a couple of minor points that prevented a perfect rating, the overall experience was fantastic. I urge you to visit BonŽur and allow their wonderful staff to treat you to a memorable dining experience. You'll be greeted with warm smiles, delicious food, and a stylish ambiance that will leave a lasting impression.

PS. Podobnie schabowy. Szczerze odradzam to danie. Duży wybór win, w mniejszości francuskich, w cenach raczej wysokich i nalewanych w skromnej ilości. Dwa główne dania plus tatar plus dwa kieliszki wina i kieliszek wódki 260 zł.

The place is nice and has plenty of room, with tables both outside and inside. The staff are kind and supportive, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. We ordered two meals — one was dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms, which smelled amazing and tasted great. The meat was good too, but for two girls the portions were huge, so one portion could easily be shared between two people and still be enough to feel full. For me, this spot is great for both eating and drinking.

Went on a quiet Sunday evening. The food was good and plentiful, soup, dumplings and the mixed meat platter. Our waitress was also lovely. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the manager and other waiters. We could see our food arriving at the kitchen hatch, including chips. Every time these gentlemen walked past the hatch they grabbed some chips from our plate! I mentioned this to our waitress when she brought our food to the table, she was apologetic and clearly told her boss. He did nothing, wouldn’t even look at us! The waitress brought us a fresh plate of chips, but no apology or even acknowledgement from the boss. Goodness knows what happened with the rest of our food, and the “fresh” plate...
