AMFORA RESTAURACJA & COCKTAILBAR — Restaurant in Katowice

A nice pub, with very attentive service, very kind and generally quick. I normally come here for dinner, but the venue is frequented as a pub too, for drinking & chatting. The food is inspired to the Middle east cuisine, Lebanese and Turkish, but the dining menu is not very long about 20 to 25 dishes. Anyhow there are dishes for vegetarians and for meat lovers. Mezze, several kind of, is the most suggested delicacy. All what I got was really delicious and it is one of my favourites dining places in Katowice. The English menu is available. 4 stars because some well known Middle east dishes, like Tabboule or Kibbe, or just Lavash, are not in the menu. I suggest to expand it a little.

Second episode. I returned several times, always enjoying new delicacies, and confirming 120% the previous rating. This time I tested the Lamb kafta dish, extremely rich, with beans, onions, baked potatoes, labneh and several spices ... fabulous and abundant, a full big meal...

This place is off the beaten path a little, but pleasantly surprised by the lunch I had. Cabbage soup was the best soup I’ve had on this 10-day trip. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I had the chillie for their lunch special, which is a good size soup and main portion for around $12 USD, which included tax and tip. For the portions and quality this would have easily been $40 meal in south Florida...
