Absolutely visually stunning food and performance, but the flavor wasn't left behind even a bit. As Sakura Sushi Bar was one of the few open until late night hours i decided to pay them a visit. Welcomed by a wonderful atmosphere and presented with a stunning food i expected price to be high. To my surprise, price was extremely affordable for what i got.

Staff is very kind, they don't speak english the best but communication is not the issue. The center of the restaurant (chef) speaks great so u can easily get a good recommendation. Ground floor is a fun place, as you can observe chef during the masterpiece creation, while tiny boats are floating around him. On the other hand if you are not comfy there, you can always enjoy your time on the first floor.

As i like to try new stuff, chef went ahead and created an original piece of sushi for me with my preferred ingredients (not offered on the menu itself). Sushi was absolutely delicious, as was the performance and presentation. All ingredients were of high quality.

I went alone but my experiences was joyful as staff was joking around and having fun, and even tho i didn't understand them it made me feel comfortable from all the positive energy they are emitting.

Easily an 11/10 experience, i will return.

PS. Sorry chef i hope you don't mind your...

Went here for dinner with a mate for mine and as always the food was delicious. We sat next to Sushi Chefs at the Bar Counter which added a a great little side chat with the very personable and friendly Sushi Chefs. The food was generous in portion size and extremely delicious based on chef’s recommendation. We shared the Tuna & Beef Roll, Tempura Minced Salmon Roll, the Softshell Crab Roll, and shared a Noddle Soup with Salmon. Personally and unexpectedly I loved the Softshell Crab Roll the most. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the attitude by one of the waiters who initially denied my request for a second empty bowl so I could divide up the soup to share stating „it wasn’t the restaurants policy to share soups“. I found the lack of customer focus a little odd and not in line with an Asian restaurant where sharing dishes is ingrained in the culture. The rest of the service staff was great and overall still highly recommended to go and I will always be...

So fancy that finally uneatable. I have ordered regular cooked salmon and unagi - which is great with just a hint of kabayki sweet sauce. And I got whipped cream with strawberries on it! And salmon covered so much in mayonnaise and orange fish eggs that I couldn’t see the maki itself! First it was uneatable like this. Second, no one told me that I will find those terrible dressing on top. Third - the stuff almost did not talk at all, walking offended on a whole world. Fourth - the white rattan on the wall at the table was dirty like someone vomited there. And it was similar with other tables. Fifth - it’s a small thing, but I come across this for the first time eating sushi - the small bowls for soya souse were made of plastic, not ceramic… I do not recommend...
