I read all the reviews I could find on line before going to Moments for breakfast and perhaps that was my first mistake. Because the majority of the review are really great I had built this breakfast up too much and came crashing down onto disappointment avenue very quickly. I had a “full English breakfast” and my daughter the “Energy breakfast”. First off no English sausage available. Secondly both breakfast plates appeared overfilled and looked as if someone threw the food on the plate in a fit of anger. Food that is not visually appealing seldom can ignite the taste sensation, then and worst of all - the fried eggs tasted like they had been fried in overused oil! My son ordered a grilled chicken bacon baguette. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The saving grace was the baguette which was obviously fresh. The only parts of the meal that lived up to the hype was the coffee, the coconut pudding chai bowl and the staff who were very friendly but not very attentive.. Will not be rushing back to this place for...
Read moreWe stopped here by coincidence for a coffee. The place is cozy and has a good atmosphere. As a matter of fact, I found it an interesting place with its own personality. There was people of all kind, families, dressed up people, large groups of friends... this was a good sign as it is a place for the general public. They played good and varied music. The place was run 100% by girls. All of the very charming. I can't explain it but those girls give the place a personal touch. They were happy and appeared to be a great team, chatting with each other and running the place smoothly. They really transmitted a good mood. Plus (why not saying it, and with all my respect), they were very beautiful. The coffee and juice we had were very tasty. We also had a brownie and a raspberry cake both of which were also very tasty. People around us had burguers and other dishes which looked great although we didn't try them.

My boyfriend got a Paulaner beer, but he said that it wasn't very good and tasted like an old keg. He then got a port, which he said was great, and I got the mulled wine, which was also good and very Christmassy. We didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food. However, the service was really bad. It took 10-15 minutes for the waitress to come see if we needed anything, and the place was empty, so it's not like she was busy. We could see the waitstaff standing around chatting. In the end, the waitress took so long that we just used the menu to calculate the bill and left cash, since we we unable to get her attention. So while the drinks themselves were mostly good, the service...
